If they have so much as a cough, keep 'em out. That's what my grandparents had to deal with. It was a sensible policy.
Hmmm, if the majority of people who have AIDS are homosexuals and a majority of them contracted the disease by not avoiding unsafe sexual acts, why should we allow them into the nation to expose others to their malidy?

OK then, what are some of the events at The Gay Games? I can think of Ball Room Dancing, a Waiter Contest (Hi, my name is goeffory and I'll be your server tonight? Our special is Lamb Kabobs?). Interpretive Dance done to YMCA by The Village people. And, of course, Platform and Spring Board Diving judged by Greg Louganis himself. What else is there?
It's about time! Now if we could build a war on the southern border and stop all the HIV positive illegals from strolling across.

Though immigration officials have granted a waiver to allow athletes to attend the games--just as they did in 1994, when the event was held in New York City--many health experts are frustrated and puzzled that the rule exists at all.
In my opinion we go back to observing the law completely -the waiver is absurd AND as is evident now an argument advanced by the delusional for doing away with the rational based law...
Opposing the homosexual agenda is not accomplished via half measures and or compromise -give the homosexual agenda activists a delusional inch and [they] will take a delusional mile -bank on that -history proves it.

I thought people with AIDS got extra points to immigrate here under Clinton. Lots of Haitians AIDS patients did just that, until the surge out of Haiti got ridiculous. Anyone remember?

Question comes to my mind is, are these "experts" of the same caliber as Gore's global warming experts? The left always seems to have legions of "experts" to support their current cause, but no one is allowed to vet the resumes of these so called experts.
In order to legitimize this fiasco as an international event, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services within the Department of Homeland Security has allowed special foreign visitor status for thousands that includes a blanket waiver B-2 travel visa for anyone with HIV/AIDS who wants to participate or simply observe the events. Under a ban passed by Congress in 1993, foreign citizens who have HIV or AIDS have typically been prohibited from entering the United States.
Homeland Security went so far as to give the Gay Games, a series of sporting events modeled on the Olympics, a “designated event status,” setting up the allowance of non-citizens with HIV/AIDS to visit Chicago for the games. Unbelievably, this exemption to allow anyone with HIV or full-blown AIDS to come to the U.S. to attend this travesty was granted after help from Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley and U.S. Rep. Jan Schakowksy (D-9). Ironically, B-2 visas are issued under the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services category as a requirement for “pleasure visitors.”
