Please tell me this is sarcasm. If not then we need a "MoonBat" alert similar to the "Barf" alert.
I'm not sure it is sarcasm. It could be true. It would explain a lot of things.
And columnist Maureen Dowd echoed Krugman's sentiments. "The past few years have been an unmitigated disaster for peace and freedom loving people throughout the upper east side of Manhattan. Only Karl Rove running the Times can explain that!!"
In related stories (see page 14a), executives of both the BBC and CNN have begun internal investigation to determine whether Rove is running their news divisions.
They may be correct, it's too stupid not to have been a plot.
No it has to be true. In addition it proves that Rove is immortal as well as a genius.
To wit: We now know that the Times knowingly concealed Stalin's mass murders and crimes against humanity (the largest genocide in the history of the human race) proving the newspaper's traitorous antiAmerican pro communist agenda since before WWII. It had to be Rove that duped the simple minded reporters, editors and publisher of the Times into those treasonous acts.
BUT ROVE IS TOO YOUNG to have been inside the times since the mid 1930's, or so everybody thinks. Rove is actually immortal, periodically changes his name and appearance, and has been able to manipulate simple minded liberals into traitorous acts for centuries, he's got it down to a science.
Sulzberger is right, he and his family are dupes and victims, and for Karl it's just all in a day's work.
