A German government official said on Thursday that letter written by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to German Chancellor Angela Merkel asks her to help solve the Palestinian problem and deal with Zionism.
Theres nothing about the nuclear issue (in the letter), the official told Reuters on condition of anonymity due to the extreme sensitivity of the issue for the German government.
Its all related to Germany and how we have to find a solution to the Palestinian problems and Zionism and so on. Its rather weird, The official, who has seen the letter, said.
........
In February, Merkel compared Ahmadinejads statements and stance to Adolf Hitlers rise to power when he and his Nazi party began threatening to exterminate European Jewry.
Remember that in 1933 many people said it was just rhetoric, Merkel said.

Gee, I wonder what kind of help Iran is looking for from Germany. (Doesn't he realize the Nazis are no longer running Germany?)

Iran changed their country's name from Persia to Iran to please nazi germany. Iran is farsi for aryan, which played up their aryan roots.

To: TheDon
The guy is a certifiable lunatic. He's living in some sort of fantasy world where he will bring about the coming of the 12th Magi or some such religious nuttiness. Heaven help us if we allow the guy to actually get nukes (assuming he doesn't already have them).

It has now been confirmed, Amenawhateverhisnameis is NUTS. This MORON should have stuck to football. He has NO IDEA what he is playing wit. None what so ever. What's sad beyond belief is that his idiocy has already been paid for with blood, and more will be spilled before this is done.
Mahmoud, you are a MORON, with no ethics, and are a sick example of the worst of humanity.

More proof that the only reason for the aggression against Israel is based on anti-semitism. These sick bastards still think Germany is Nazi based. If they want anti-Semitism, may I suggest the United States own Democrat party where even Jews themselves like Barbara Striesand will not hesitate for a second to stab Israel in the back.

We were posting the same article at the same time and mine was posted after yours, they'll probably kick mine out so let me write my thoughts here and get into your discussion.
From article:
"In February, Merkel compared Ahmadinejads statements and stance to Adolf Hitlers rise to power when he and his Nazi party began threatening to exterminate European Jewry."
Remember that in 1933 many people said it was just rhetoric, Merkel said.
The German official said it was interesting that the letter did not discuss Irans nuclear standoff with the United States, European Union and other countries."
Some Germans are not fools but then there is a mosque in Germany which is flying the Turkish flag and not the German flag.

Gee, I wonder what kind of help Iran is looking for from Germany.
Well, it might be higher criticism of the Qu'ran. Higher criticism attempts to investigate the origins of a text. Higher criticism in particular focuses on the sources of a document and tries to determine the authorship, date, and place of composition of the text.
This term is used in contrast with lower criticism or textual criticism, which is the endeavour to establish the original version of a text. Higher criticism originally referred to the work of German Biblical scholars. After the path-breaking work on the New Testament by Friedrich Schleiermacher (1768-1834), in the next generation, David Friedrich Strauss (1808-1874) and Ludwig Feuerbach (1804-1872), in the mid-nineteenth century, analyzed the historical records of the Middle East from Christian and Old Testament times, in search of independent confirmation of events related in the Bible.
What Ahmadinejad is looking for is German assistance in investigating the Qur'an. Obviously the Qur'an incorporates material from both the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament, and the text of the Qur'an developed both during and after Muhammad's lifetime. For example, Islamic history records that Uthman collected all variants of the Qur'an and destroyed those that he did not approve of.
Ahmadinejad is as well interested in getting a translation into Farsi of Christoph Luxenberg (ps.): Die syro-aramaeische Lesart des Koran; Ein Beitrag zur Entschluesselung der Qur'ansprache. (English review:

No, unfortunately, I am just kidding. ;-)

These third-world countries, particularly the Mid-East variety, can exhibit some incredibly juvenile thinking, and I suspect that's exactly what's in play here: We know you know how evil the Jews are and since you had such great success at exterminating them, we thought you might help us out since we cannot seem to make a dent in this country that's the size of a flea on a dog compared to us.
There are plenty more examples, but I'm sure you get my point.

Still, the Germans built themselves quite a reputation when it comes to anti-Zionist activity back in the 40s.
This one is going to be hard to live down.

A German government official said on Thursday that letter written by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to German Chancellor Angela Merkel asks her to help solve the Palestinian problem... As I observed on another thread, when Chancellor Merkel's predecessor and his ministers referred to "solving the Jewish problem", they were in fact talking about eradicating the Jews. So by analogy, what would it mean to "solve the Palestinian problem"?
