Wow- I never knew that Alice Cooper was the son of a minister and was "born again". And I read that he was a "conservative". Below is a quote from "Charisma Magazine":
Cooper told HM he answers his critics: "'I was one thing at one time, and I'm something new. I'm a new creature now. Don't judge Alice by what he used to be. Praise God for what I am now.'"

The man has allowed God to tune his life around. He has been faithful for several years. All praise to the glorious Lord Jesus the Christ Who has mercy on all Sons of Adam and Daughters of Eve.

Thirty years ago, my Dad once sat next to Alice Cooper on an airline flight. He was surprised to find out Cooper was a nice guy and very "normal." Cooper basically told him that his persona was all a marketing act. Back then I guess he was out there, probably mild by today's standards.

is this really a song about "dead babies?"
Little Betty ate a pound of aspirin She got them from the shelf upon the wall Betty's mommy wasn't there to save her She didn't even hear her baby call (Waaah!)
Dead babies can't take care of themselves Dead babies can't take things off the shelf Well we didn't want you anyway Lalala-la, lalala-la, la la la
Daddy is an agrophile in Texas Mommy's on the bar most every night Little Betty's sleeping in the graveyard Living there in burgundy and white
Dead babies can't take care of themselves Dead babies can't take things off the shelf Well we didn't love you anyway ma ma ma-ma, ma ma ma-ma, ma ma ma
Goodbye, Little Betty Goodbye, Little Betty So long, Little Betty So long, Little Betty Betty, so long
Dead babies can't take care of themselves Dead babies can't take things off the shelf Well we didn't need you anyway ma ma ma-ma, ma ma ma ma-ma, ma ma ma
Goodbye, Little Betty

Back in his unregenerate days he used to play golf (when it was not cool for Rock stars to do so) with Iggy Pop, and David Cassady. They used to disguise themselves so no-one would know...

Age and sobriety usually does this to a guy.

Yep, Alice is cool. He's funny too. When he counsels kids, he tells it like it is, and they can't say "You don't know what you're talking about." He replies, "What are you kidding? I'm Alice Cooper!"

Alice Cooper has quite a website too:

Fascinating!
I'm reminded of a saying that we will one day not only be utterly astounded by "who" we see in Heaven, but we will be even more astounded by who we do not NOT see...
