Oh, please! The guy's an actor who was drunk...he didn't take a gun into a synagogue and mow people down. He didn't blame the Jews for 9/11 and he didn't call for the destruction of Israel.
He doesn't have to "atone" for anything. He just needs to stay sober and quit Frenching women who aren't his wife. Everything else will follow.

I'm not the one writing articles about him. These people are. I'm just saying what he will have to do to get back into their good graces if he wants too. I'm NOT saying I agree with it. So stop your flames.

If he is judging an entire group of people per what the reports are, he's sinned by the BIBLE. Sorry, but your post makes no headway there either.

I agree completely. The only thing Mel criminally did wrong was drive while intoxicated. He can say whatever he wants - thoughts aren't good or bad. It's no one else's business and he doesn't have to do squat to appease all those upset with him. He apologized over and over - enough already. His main priorities now are to get sober, clean house and trust God. The rest will follow.
