Hamid al-Saedi captured and squealing like a pig-tried to use children and women as human shields.

Hamid al-Saedi, (also spelled Hameed al- Sheedi) has been captured in Iraq. He is reported to have been al-Qaeda’s number two man under Abu Musab Zarqawi and then number two man under Abu Ayyub al-Masri. He was captured by joint American and Iraqi forces near Baquba. Al-saedi, a/k/a Hamed Juma Faris al-Saedi, also known as Abu Humam or Abu Rana. Al-Saedi was hiding in civilian homes and tried to use children and women as human shields. He ordered bombings and mortar attacks, killed innocent civilians, was in charge of a group that kidnapped individuals, and is accused of ordering a February bomb attack that demolished a revered Shiite shrine in Samarra.

According to reports, al-Saedi has been talking and giving up valuable information in the two days since his capture. Maybe he is just thankful not to end up like Zarqawi. As a result of information gained from al-Saedi, joint forces have killed 11 militants of the second tier and nine of the lower tier of al-Qadea in Iraq.

Mr Rubaie [National Security Adviser Mowaffak al-Rubaie] says Saedi had given orders to an Iraqi militant, Haitham al-Badri, to carry out the attack.

Badri, who was linked to the former regime before joining Ansar al-Sunna and ultimately Al Qaeda, still remains at large.

Badri is also accused of killing a female Iraqi journalist and two members of a crew working for Dubai’s Al-Arabiya television, who had gone to Samarra to cover the bombing of the shrine.

In June, Mr Rubaie announced the capture of a Tunisian Al-Qaeda militant allegedly responsible for the bombing.

Abu Qudama al-Tunisi is accused of taking an active part in blowing up the mosque’s golden dome. source

Information gained from the house where Zarqawi was bombed led to the capture of al-Saedi and other captures and raids conducted by the joint forces in Iraq. These guys are not so brave when they think their time is up, hiding behind women and children. Pathetic!

Does the MSM know about this? You wouldn't know it by turning on the tube (except for Fox).

Nothing good accomplished in the middle east is ever going to get much coverage.

Or, maybe the truth serum we use is particularly effective.

You know, after observing these idiots for the past few years, it strikes me that they lack another trait that we have (in addition to our honoring life, women, children, etc.) They lack the fundamental trait of loyalty to one-another that I would expect to see from people in their situations. Even our criminal street gangs understand the concept of being "loyal" to each other. Each time one of these jerks is caught it seems they start squealing like the pigs they are. They would give up their own mothers if they thought it would keep them from suffering. They define cowardice.
