Bingo.

All the carping by the Clintanistas about the Sandy Burglar and Maddy Halfbright scenes are just cover for their real issue...Clinton had his eye on the Lewinski affair and not the security of this country.

They ought to tell the truth,” Mr Clinton said. “They shouldn’t have scenes that are directly contradicted by the findings of the 9/11 report.”

Just which scenes "contradict the findings" there, Mister Convicted Perjurer, and Accused Rapist?

The reaction from Mr Clinton and his former aides was extraordinarily visceral.

Bull. This is exactly the message that Clinton wants out there...that he would have gotten Bin Laden if those evil Republicans had not been so mean to him.

Democrats pointed out that the main consultant to the ABC series was Thomas Keane, a former Republican New Jersey governor and chairman of the 9/11 commission.

Correct me if I'm wrong but was it not Nancy Reagan and the general public that protested the movie about Ronald Reagan? I don't remember the Republicans raising a fuss.

Sandy Berger, the former National Security Adviser, also demanded yesterday that ABC either substantially edit or cancel its two-part The Path to 9/11, claiming that the drama was defamatory

Sandy, if its so defamatory then sue for defamation, after the broadcast! Let's see ya try, Sandy, let's just see ya try ....

This is ripe, folks, just beautiful how the left is going berserk over all this .... get loads of popcorn ready 'cause this is just the beginning. Heehhehheeeheee :)

The outrage had echoes of a 2003 controversy when Republicans successfully persuaded CBS to pull an unflattering and inaccurate biopic of the late Ronald Reagan.

Big difference! The GOP Senate didn't threaten CBS with a letter of protest over Reagan s film nor demanded censoring.

Also...when Dan Rather and CBS had those phoney forged documents about GWB's National Guard service neither Bush nor the GOP threatened CBS on that intentional smear either.

I believe Clinton let Bin Laden go, but there's obviously more to that story than the l'affaire Lewinsky.

OT but related - I just got back from the video store and saw on the shelf a just released movie called "The 9/11 Commission Report." It's a dramatization. They were out of them so I couldn't rent it to view. I looked up the info about the movie..check this out > http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0840272/

Does anyone know anything about this movie?

Interestingly, the timeline does not include the first WTC bombing in 1983. Why would they have made so obvious an omission? I don't believe he was yet involved with that particular intern, and he certainly wasn't under attack from the eeevvvviiillll VRWC!!!!! So what gives there, do you think?

Hopefully, Clinton's protestation would backfire and draw public attention back to the Lewinsky affair, which is to amnesiac and rabid Clintonistas and delirious moonbats what the crucifix is to Dracula : a blinding and excruciating truth...

How Clinton Kept Bin Laden Free

By Richard Miniter Washington Times | September 8, 2003

"Sudan offered to arrest and turn over bin Laden at this meeting, according to (Minister of State for Defense Elfatih) Erwa. He brought up bin Laden directly. "Where should we send him?" he asked."

"Finally, the CIA official spoke. "We have nothing we can hold him on,"

"Over the next few months and years, Sudan would repeatedly try to provide its voluminous intelligence files on bin Laden to the CIA, the FBI, and senior Clinton Administration officials — and would be repeatedly rebuffed through both formal and informal channels. This was one of the greatest intelligence failures of the Clinton years — the result of orders that came from the Clinton White House."
