Newsmax outright plagiarized from the AP story on this, stealing entire lines.
In any event, the way they left it looks worse than the original since the Republicans do not get blamed for distracting Clinton like in the original. All Clark says is he was assured it would not be a distraction, and we also see Billy waving his finger.
Hardly a "watering down."

"Of a fictionalized drama version of Sept. 11 or the Manning brothers playing football against one another, he chose the latter." Sounds like his presidency. Golf, anyone?

"Historian Arthur Schlesinger jr." What a lie!

"In the critics' version, that statement is followed directly by archival footage of Clinton's video testimony about his relationship with Monica Lewinsky. Sunday, that footage was not included. "
That footage ran last night. Saw it myself.

"He made the choice that most Americans made," said Jay Carson, Clinton Foundation spokesman. "Of a fictionalized drama version of Sept. 11 or the Manning brothers playing football against one another, he chose the latter."
Doesn't that just sum it up anyway... I find this quote offensive on several levels; the first being the condenscending tone taken towards those who watched the Path to 9/11, as though they are "stupid" because clearly, the smart informed people chose football.
Secondly, doesn't it seem to trivialize September 11? It's not as important as football. He throws a hissy fit about something he's not even going to watch anyway? And... 9/11 (which was on CBS and I own personally) and could be considered even by Klintoon as nonfictionalized... was on... but he didn't even give that a thought.
I'm just surprised the US wasn't attacked with more force while he was in office.

Well he had one helluva lot to say about it last week...
But its good to know in these everchanging times that some things are constant: clintoon is still an a$$hole.
I feel better knowing that....

I'm sure they announced that Clinton didn't watch it last night because he had already seen it on the DVD.

"As for Clinton, he didn't bother watching the movie that angered so many people who once worked for him.""I'm confused. Clinton wrote a four page letter to ABC criticizing them for airing a movie that Clinton has not seen?"

Didn't hear a bit of complaining from Liberals over Farenheit 911 by that slob Michael Moore, but the Dims suuuuuuuurrrre don't like it when the shoe's on the other foot.
Gotta tell you, I'm flat eating this up...nothing like scourging an entire party by their own tactics.
Keep crying, Libs, you're making my month.

Hi All- The leftists call The Path to 9/11 a "fakudrama" designed specifically for political posturing. That's comical, they were nowhere to be found when that absurd and pathetic Fahrenheit 911 nonsense was playing in the theaters...and they were giving it awards for crying out loud.

Regardless of leaving out the Lewinsky scene (oh boy they could have had fun with that if the film were comedy) I still came away feeling there was a lot of negligence on Clinton's part. BTW I really wanted to kick Sandy Berger in the ass. Also who was the character that was going on about the Northern Alliance guy Massoud being an opium grower--"thus he's a criminal and we shouldn't deal with him."---he was quite obnoxious.

Ha! Just like he found out about the Monica Lewinsky investigation from the newspaper. Remember his line about reading the morning paper and saying, "Hillary, look at this." Lying piece of crap!

Oh, THAT "Lewinsky scene"! I thought maybe ABC had made an X-rated version.

As for Clinton, he didn't bother watching the movie that angered so many people who once worked for him.I'm sure he got an advanced copy of it and had already seen it.
