RE-Post from earlier today;

I've probably listened to Savage longer than you have. I know exactly what he thinks, on just about every topic. He is not un-american. He is anti-bush, anti-mission in Iraq and by default, anti-troop. Working diligently day in and day out to undermine the CIC is just as despicable to me whether its a dingbat peace activist, or a dingbat talk show host.

Many people listen to Savage, many more just seem to don't get where he's coming from. Liberals loathe him, conservatives seem to be divided over him, I'm just amazed and dumbfounded that any true-blue conservative could hate Savage.

Savage is crystal clear on why he feels the way he does, liberals are clearly just confused. Savage voted for Bush, the liberals did not. Savage consistently aims his vitriol at liberalism and when Bush strays into the liberalism target zone he gets hit in the Savage cross-hairs, cause we all know liberalism is but a mental disorder. However that's not anti-Bush, it's anti-liberalism. When Bush entertains conservative ideals and only when, then Savage becomes his biggest booster. Liberals are ALWAYS against Bush.

Savage initially supported the war, so did I and probably still would if not for the PC strategy that obviously is not working over there. the liberals never supported the war and never will.

And anti-troop, oh my, words fail me here but all I can say is Pendleton 8. You really have a different understanding about Savage than I do but at least you do have an issue to go along with your name-calling, reminds me of a certain talk show host. Most of the Savage detractors tend to be hit and run posters that just deliver empty-headed rhetoric and name-calls.

So you find him despicable, hey guess what, you now have something in common with the 'dingbat peace activists'. I think he's the greatest and if I for a moment thought that Savage was out to undermine what this country stands for, I wouldn't listen to his show, I wouldn't engage on a thread about him, and doubt there would even be a Savage thread on Free Republic to engage in, and I certainly wouldn't be taking the time to defend him.
