Why forget Bush and Clinton? Because I want to know the source of your dissatisfaction.

Defensive battles are loosing situations strategically. History is on the side of one who takes the fight to the enemy. By putting the free world's warriors and influence into the heart of tyranny, it has sucked all the localized bullies away from neighboring territories to get their butts kicked by American/NATO (with recent friends, like the Poles) trigger pullers.

Because Coalition troops are in Iraq and Afghanistan, it has relieved pressure of Jihad in many many other areas. If ground forces weren't put into the heart of tyranny, then Jihad would have continued to be exported to our hemisphere, and particularly through the countries that have criminal elements that infiltrate our borders. Yes, there are still leaks. But the source of the leak must fixed before the other leaks. It is a priority that cannot be reversed. Jihad is knocked off balance and will continue to lose so long as the free world doesn't falter.
