It would be incredible if she could pull an upset and we could hold the House and Senate. Just think what message that would send to the guys OVER THERE. Just think what message it would send to the enemy.
A Democrat victory on Tuesday would absolutely embolden the Islamofascists. It would be bad for Iraq and the region and very bad for us.
YES! Here's the story from my end.
When I got the words from Doug, I sent them to a couple of buddies of mine in the Nashville record biz. They're not Freepers but are staunch conservatives and former military.
Naturally, they hate Murtha and were only too glad to cut the song. From there it went to W04Man who did a tremendous job, as you can see.
Our hope is that this labor of love will get out there far and wide on the Internet. Please, anyone and everyone, e-mail it around!

I first got the words from doug, via RedRover, and started thinking of some photos to use. I was having a lot of trouble finding the ones I really wanted. Some of them had been seen on FR before, but finding them was a chore mostly for Google search. Then, when I got the audio, I went round and round with different photos and trying to adjust the timing. Red, suggested the lyrics be typed in the pictures, so that required more adjustments. Then.... I had some help with suggestions from Red, Smoothie, Justa, etc. So I had to do some photo swapping to make it fit their suggestions. All in all, it was about a two day effort to put it together and make the adjustments. I forgot who suggested the onetruemedia.com web site, but it was a winner for this and other recent projects.

A FReeper pointed out to me that Irey has the accent on the first syllable. That is actually how I wrote the song. When I heard the roughcut of the song, I thought I made the mistake in how I had pronounced her name.
Maybe when she shows up later, she'll add her part in the story. She played a key role in all this.
