Oh No, Massa! N.Y. Democrat Candidate Faced with Foley-Style Problem

Posted by Tim Graham on November 4, 2006 - 11:39.

Via the Sixers blog on NRO, we learn that the George Stephanopoulos pledge that the Mark Foley scandal would resonate in every congressional race sometimes comes true. Consider that in upstate New York, the shoe is on other foot, the Democratic foot, embarrassing the challenger to first-term Congressman Randy Kuhl. The Rochester Democrat and Chronicle reports:

(November 2, 2006) — CORNING — Democratic congressional candidate Eric Massa fired his campaign manager in June and has accused him of providing alcohol to underage boys and inviting a teenage boy to spend the night with him.

Massa accused Sanford Dickert of New York City of luring three underage boys into his apartment in Corning and illegally providing them with beer and hard liquor. The ensuing party resulted in water damage to the apartment and to merchandise in an antique store under it. The store was forced to close for two days.

The Massa campaign paid more than $3,000 for the damage to the apartment and the store, according to court documents.

The allegations are contained in a document filed Oct. 19 in state Supreme Court in Steuben County. Dickert went to court to seek arbitration after his dismissal. Massa responded by filing for a stay of arbitration.

"It's an ongoing labor dispute," Massa said Wednesday. "Our attorneys are working out the details."

Massa, who's trying to unseat Rep. John Randy Kuhl Jr., R-Hammondsport, Steuben County, in the 29th Congressional District, said he did not learn until after he fired Dickert that the campaign manager had asked a 16-year-old boy to spend the night with him…

The difference, of course, is that Democrats are incapable of shame. The only shame they feel is for the country they live in and they express that every time we assert our greatness.

But, in terms of personal conduct, they are shameless.

And so often it's this sick and disgusting homosexual / pedophile crap.  What happened to the 'good old days' when politicians would only be caught out with hookers by tabloid photographers hiding in bushes?

Perhaps there was an effort to produce a 'gay bathhouse' of sorts onsite and the plumbing went awry....whatever it was, I doubt that any significant details will be carried in the driveby media.  If it had been a Republican candidate, however, there would be endless-photospreads of the police wheeling 55-gallon drums of Astroglide and highspeed industrial pumps out of the building.

Superbly stated and of course no arguments from me.

This fixation that they have on destroying our nation, however, remains somewhat baffling to me, as it would be so much simpler for them to relocate to Cuba or North Korea, where they could bask in the glow of the Socialist Miracle.

I guess they just can't stand it for America to exist, however, and so they stay here in an effort to destroy it from within.

I don't live in this area (basically from Rochester south to the PA boarder), so I don't know how much media attention this is getting. I can tell you that I know the Republican incumbent personally, and he's a real decent guy. It wouldn't surprise me that he wouldn't be making a huge deal about this, especially if the Dem. candidate really didn't know anything about it. Rep. Kuhl has been a victim of dirty campaigning, and I've heard him say that he doesn't believe that's the way to run a campaign.

This one being another democRAT will be covered up and brushed under the rug just as the sexual harassment case in Jerry Browns office and this has been for the past 8 months

If you have anything devious in your past it pays to be a democRAT as they have no shame.
