I also have little confidence in Olmert after the Lebanon fiasco. Still, Israel would probably have to get overflight permission from Jordan or Saudi or Turkey in addition to Iraq, if the Israeli Air Force has the capacity for this mission, which I'm not so sure of.

We didn't need overflight permission to take out the Iraqi reactor. We just went. We'll do the same with Iran IF the Prime Minister develops a backbone in time.

They have F-15Is, pretty much the same as the F-15E, and a few 707 tankers. They can execute the mission.

Plus of course Sub launched cruise missiles, and IRBMs with sufficient range to reach the farthest point in Iran.
