Raleigh — The North Carolina State Bar has filed an ethics complaint against Duke lacrosse prosecutor Mike Nifong.

I don't think we'll ever know when he or his minions first spoke to her because she's a well-established liar and so is Nifong - he perjured himself to this very judge. What I think we do know is that last week we saw Nifong pull one of the puppet strings he has attached to Mangum in order to help partially bail him out of the trouble he got himself into with Meehan and the DNA results.
Could the Feds have any say in this? Can any of the freeper legal eagles shed some light here? Is there case law on this type of prosecutorial misconduct or is this a state-by-state sort of thing?
The people of that town should not only hold the DA to the fire, they should hold the local newspapers the same way for printing garbage....go Duke go...

I was discussing this last night with someone here in NC. What would happen if one of the Grand Jury members decides to come forward? The Grand Jury proceedings are to be kept secret, but they could certainly tell if Nifong lied or misrepresented such evidence as the DNA. I wonder if the judge in the case might be interested in opening that can of worms?
I usually avoid watching Greta...but, in this case, I just might see if she or her "gang" ask that very question..and see what the answer is.

What's sad is that a large number of people in that community will never believe that the students are innocent no matter what comes to light in court. The same mentality that those boys should be punished even if they didn't do it. They're priviledged whiteboys and deserve to be put down.
I think it was a freudian slip by the AP writer. He WISHES the accuseR could be a victim again. Or maybe the writer just couldn't bring himself or herself to acknowledge that these boys are indeed victims of this monster known as Nifong and it was a deliberate mistake to use accuseR instead of accuseD.

There's just too much good news at once. State Bar to file a complaint against Nifong. Saddam Hussein to be hanged within 36 hours. WOW! Can it get better than this?

Exactly. I have said all along they NEED a trial to prove them innocent beyond a doubt, or some will still say they are buying their way off, among other things.
Hell, I saw Wendy Murphy on some show this week saying that "the team" had offered her two million dollars to drop the charges -- when Tucker Carlson asked her for proof of that, saying he'd never heard or read that, she said "everybody knows it, it was in all the papers."
If I were a parent of a Duke Lacrosse player, I'd sue the damned school for suspending the program. School officials essentially tarred and feathered all those (white) boys without a shred of evidence.
Or as someone on another thread a few days ago put it:
