Why? They're right.

Why fill your stadium with "The Enemy" during a playoff game?

Besides, any game is better on my 64" plasma screen anyway.

While I don't agree with this policy anyway, there were only about 1000 seats left, and they were single seats only.

But, still should have opened it up to anyone who wanted to buy them.

Go Pats!

1000 single tickets in the nosebleed section is hardly filling the stadium.

Ticket sales do not need to be restricted - Marty will still find a way to lose.

Sportsmanship has nothing to do with it. Its business, not personal.

If they're such terrible seats, why waste the money for tickets, airfare, hotels, etc....?

Its not the first time. The Browns used to restrict sales to credit cards with a Pittsburgh billing address back in the day.......

"Residency will be based on your credit card billing address."

It's simple. They only want San Diego "chargers".

This is the playoffs - civility is out the window.

I have no problem with San Diego doing this - I like it.

The U S government should step in with their Dept. of Stadium Seats and regulate this sort of stuff. ;^)

Question: Is Charger Stadium (or whatever the heck it is called) a publically owned stadium? If so, then resticting sales based upon residence may constitute an unconstitutional restriction on interstate commerce.

It's a different story in New Orleans:

For some Eagles fans, it’s off to the Big Easy

Tickets are going for between $250 and $1,285 at TicketsNow.com and Philadelphia-area residents accounted for a quarter of all orders placed Sunday and Monday, said TicketsNow.com spokeswoman Jennifer Swanson.

"I don’t know if you can top Philly fans," Swanson said. "I know those guys are ravenous. They’ll travel."

And you don't have to pay $8 for a hot dog, $6 a cup for watered-down beer, and then wait an entire quarter to use a bathroom, either.
