Someone died, someone needs to pay the price for that. Brandy needs to fry for this.

Was she yapping on her cell phone at the time?

No way this could have been Brandy's fault! It was that evil Land Rover vs. Honda thing.

I'm sure she said:"My Bad." Doesn't that make it all good?

She'll beat the manslaughter charge. She's too rich to be found guilty of such a thing... (think OJ).
The civil suit will be a much different matter. This is going to cost her some serious money.

It probably was that she was on the cell phone. Even if she wasn't on the phone, she was inattentive while speeding down the highway. Being crushed to seath is a horrible way to die.

Charges should have been filed immediately. Why was this story kept under wraps so long? I didn't hear about the accident until about 3 weeks after the fact!

Celebrity death crashes happen more often than is widely known and/or reported.
[Matthew] Broderick met actress Jennifer Grey on the set of Ferris Bueller's Day Off. On August 5, 1987, she was with him as he drove on a rain-soaked road on the outskirts of Enniskillen in Northern Ireland. Broderick drove his rented BMW 316 head-on into another car carrying 63-year-old Margaret Doherty and her 30-year-old daughter Anna Gallagher; both women were killed. Broderick had to be cut out of the car; he suffered facial lacerations and a broken thigh. Grey escaped with minor injuries. Broderick had no memory of the event, whilst Grey was distracted at the moment of the accident in the process of changing audio tapes and also remembered seeing nothing. The lack of witnesses, skid marks or other evidence led Broderick to plead guilty in absentia on February 15, 1988 to the lesser charge of careless driving. He was fined £100.

I know the source is Wikipedia, but I remember reading about this back in the early 90s as well.

Pretty soon, any traffic accident will involve a prison sentence for whoever is deemed "at fault".

Too bad she wasn't driving a SUV, she could have blamed it on her car and sued the manufacturer...

Noteriety should not play a part in this. A lady failed to stop and plowed into the vehicle in front of her, killing someone inside.

Then there is the civil case.

"Scotchy" still not charged in vehicle death.

Well, I guess I'm going against the flow here, but nobody here has ever rearended someone totally by accident? A cell phone is not necessary to do such a thing. If it's her fault she'll pay. But I won't tar and feather her.
