The fact that this is a news story at all shows how bad things are at Harvard (and many other schools). I mean, it's such a rarity for someone at Harvard to love the country enough to want to serve that it's actually turned into a news story. Amazing.

Even Democrat Harry Truman would agree. He sent Americans overseas to liberate South Korea.

Truman didn't cut and run when 3,000 Americans died (which was 5 weeks into the conflict). Within 30 months (the remainder of Truman's presidential term) 30,000 Americans died in Korea.
