In this case, do you seriously worry that what Anne Coulter says may add life to Edwards' campaign? Edwards'?
I want Edwards to drop out, and that to motivate Gore to drop in. Edwards may be persuaded that he can use Ann's remarks to generate sympathy and momentum, thus putting his moribund campaign on some life support.
Once Gore is in, the Democrat contest will become bloody, messy and may result in a long winded convention fight, which helps the Republican enormously.
