Anyone know where the Freepers will be on 3-17? I mean as in pretty specific, not just "the mall" The mall is a big place. I plan on being there with hubby and 2 daughters. But since we live in the area, we are coming by metro that morning. Thanks

Midway through the article it says,
"It is imperative that the Eagles start gathering as early as possible Saturday (0700/7AM) morning and plan to stay all day."Being that ANSWER has forsaken use of Constitution Gardens, the Gathering of Eagles has applied with the Park Service for a permit to use Constitution Gardens, an excellent location, as our rallying point and base of operations from which to spread out to protect the memorials. The Park Service should be able to tell us tomorrow (Friday) where we stand."

Another leftist group has plans to rally at the Lincoln Memorial near the Korean War Memorial.
you can WALK (not run) from Lincoln and be touching the Granite in a minute.....from the Korean Memorial takes only a bit longer because the pool is in the way.
The lefties are playing games with their press releases....

The D.C. Chapter will have a table at the rally location. You can check in there. We'll try to get some Freeper name tags to use.

We would just be in the way when the leftists start trying to tear down the protective fences and the CS gas starts being used by law enforcement at the Pentagon parking area where the anti-war rally will be held. I'd prefer phosgene.

Actually, they're playing games with their permit applications. The IAC, ANSWER's parent group, has permitted the Lincoln Memorial in front of the Reflecting Pool and the Washington Monument grounds.

They could try finding the Iwa Jima memorial (hint: it's not on the mall). Interestingly the site I linked did not show a location for the Great War Memorial besides on the Mall.
