If you click on the link, you can get to an e-mail form (got to click a Kentuky county first) to send Mitch a note of support.

I did....he's worth supporting a lot more than the dolts at the RNC!

I just noticed...it seems that even some freepers are annoyed at the war and bored with it.

Sigh...I've noticed that too...are these the same freepers who wanted to teach a lesson to Congress and the Prez last Nov...

“Osama Bin Laden and his followers have repeatedly said that the U.S. does not have the stomach for a long fight with the terrorists. Passage of the Reid Joint Resolution will be the first concrete sign since Sept. 11, 2001, that he was right on target.

How true this is....the US is doomed to be attacked again before these idiots get it!

Mitch grasps the bigger picture and understands the U.S. Constitution. Hence, his fight against McCain-Feingold. If he wasn't so valuable in the Senate, I would like him as a POTUS candidate.

That's for sure. But will his words be heeded by enough in both houses of Congress. To damn many fence toads collecting nice salaries with the promise of liberal pensions, that don't give a damn. As long as their constituents keep voting them in, they could care less about important issues regarding the national defense of this country.

Bravo, Mitch!

Now will the Drive Bys take a breather from the (pant-pant) Gonzales story and report this?

(Is FR still slow as molasses in January?)

The only way the Democrats win is if America loses Iraq and the Democrats are pulling all the strings to make sure they win. Next step for the Democrats will be to pick up arms, go to Iraq and fight our troops themselves.

These idiots will never "get it." When the U.S. is attacked with a nuke in 2009 or -10 and NY City, Washington DC, San Francisco and or LA are a smoldering crater, the same idiots will blame Bush and scream over any attempt to retaliate. Their solution is to sing Kum By Yah. hold hands and "just get along" while figuring out some Utopian scheme that will destroy the human race.

Hail Mary, full of grace.......

Thanks for posting this. It cuts to the heart of what the crowd that advocates retreat is ignoring. Furthermore, if Osama et al got the impression we were paper tigers after Somalia, what will they learn from our withdrawal now? I daresay no one will ever count on us in the future.

It is clear that many Islamic terrorist organizations and autocratic governments have a stake in trying to prevent us from succeeding to establish order in Iraq. They have pulled out all the stops to try to create a civil war in order to prevent our success. even so, we've made steady progress as the Iraqi people have sickened of having outsiders causing trouble. My sense is that we CAN succeed if we can stop the Democrats from snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

When the Republicans in the Senate stop staying silent to Democrat attacts on their integrity, I will then support their statements.

I did too. I wish more Republicans were pointing out the direct and indirect consequences that cutting and running will have

Thank you Senator, you've made me very proud to be a Republican. Keep up the good work and stay constant in your neverending battle with the America hating traitors, the Democrats. Since the Democrats are on the side of Osama perhaps they should make a peace trip to visit him in the hiding place of his half-baked war room. Is a visit like that something the Clinton/Reid/Pelosi crowd would attend? I'm sure they would happily travel to Pakistan in order to gush and grovel before the great Satan, Osama.
