Iran is threatening to retaliate in Europe for what it claims is a daring undercover operation by western intelligence services to kidnap senior officers in its Revolutionary Guard. According to Iranian sources, several officers have been abducted in the past three months and the United States has drawn up a list of other targets to be seized with the aim of destabilising Tehran's military command. In an article in Subhi Sadek, the Revolutionary Guard's weekly paper, Reza Faker, a writer believed to have close links to President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, warned that Iran would strike back...

Of course the Muzzie who wrote this just accepts on faith that these Iranians were kidnapped rather than defected from the looney tune regime of President Rat Face of Iran.
And I beg them to hit back...we will have every reason to carpet bomb them back to the dawn of time. We can't bomb them back to the Stone Age since they're already there.

ima nut job is just starting to guess that the military command in Iran may not be that loyal to him and may be looking elsewhere for help in toppling his miserable rule.

If correct and there are guards missing. it looks like the rats are jumping ship on their own and the mullahs, or at least, muhajnut is trying to blame someone for his problems...

This little fella just wants his own TV show. I'd pay per view a steel cage death match between him and little Kim J.

Like all self-deluded tyrants they'll never believe that their own people would willing want to leave their beloved country. You have to be silly to try and escape...

It seems like this US shift caught them off guard. The Iranians were feeling their oats until recently. Then, our military begins the Surge, and almost at the same time Iranian intel and military personnel 'turn up missing.'
Now the Iranian administration has to deal with this and potentially retaliate without drawing escalated US physical reactions. They were in the game without having to pony up for too long. Now they've got a seat directly opposite of us and have our attention.
Iran has been the main force in fueling the Sunni/Shiite violence, and supplying deadly arms to be used against our troops. Now, they themselves are being targeted. They'll either have to relent or escalate.

I suspect Ahmadinejad will choose the latter.

well Iran ... if you must .... here's your special selection to kidnap. Of course realize that without alocohol he will implode after 24 hours and duplicate the effects of spontaneous black hole creation.

Although they could, I don't think they really wanted that. I think they thought they could harass us into scaling back in Iraq so they could fill the vacuum, on the cheap. They bluster a ton, but I don't think they want to start going tit for tat in a more obvious/physical fashion which is what we seem to be threatening to do.

Two possible situations here:
1) The story is true ... in which case the US is getting it's money's worth out of our black ops guys.
or
2) The story is false ... and the Iranians are scared and trying to whine to the world to get their way - which almost never works.
Either way ... I'm good.
To: Sax
Nor do I. I think they're more upset at the Dems inability to end the war than the moonbats are.
