TENTATIVE Update

I haven't heard back from everyone yet, so am relying on info several of you have supplied (thank you!!!), and basic research to determine whether all of these members/lists are still active.

Notes:

1. I did try to go back in my FReepmail to the previous spring (2007) to be sure I had all submitted updates. If I missed yours, PLEASE UPDATE THIS THREAD ONLY to be sure I see it. NO FREEPMAIL PLEASE... I lose them in there.

2. I have another version of the chart that attempted to hyperlink all of your names to a pre-filled form so people can, in one-click, request to be added to your respective ping lists. However, it appears the FR software was changed, so while the form works, it is not pre-filled anymore. Does anyone know how to correct this?

3. If any of you have KEYWORDS (ex: Ping List) that you use to archive your Ping List topics, please post those here as well. I know several of you use them, and I can link those on your listing as well. :)

It looks great, cgk! Thank you very much for doing this for everyone. This makes it easier for people to find their favorite topics.

I use earthquake, and quake as keywords on threads where I ping the Earthquake Ping List. For anyone who wants to be added to or removed from the Earthquake Ping List, they should write to me via FReepmail.

I use navair as a keyword for the Navair ping list.

Thank you for undertaking the ping list update. When you finish I understand King Augeas has some stables that need cleaning. ;)

I'm reworking a couple of my lists, and adding *pingfile* keywords for a couple of them. I'll post here and/or FReepmail you with updates/changes, mostly in the military category, I reckon.

Have you set a usual/common time, [quarterly, monthly, whatever for info updates? It would seem it needs to be an annual event at the very least, and probably a bit more frequent than that.
