Congress recently passed a bill setting a deadline to end the war in Iraq. But President Bush just vetoed the bill -- ignoring the will of the American people.
We're gathering at emergency response rallies across the country. We'll bring noise-makers to show that the Bush administration cannot ignore the voices of the people. This is an important moment to step out and show our strength in numbers -- we have to swiftly prove that the majority of the people aren't with the president. We want Congress to stand firm and end this war.

I am so tired of this BS from the Democrats. They say the President went against the will of the people. He went against the will of the Democrats.

If it was really the “will of the people,” the Dems would have the votes to override the veto. They don’t; it isn’t.

ignoring the will of the American people.
The will of the American people was for the government to quit spending so much f**king money. The President got the message and vetoed this bribe-filled bill.

Hey San Fran Nan, your people say "we have to swiftly prove that the majority of the people aren't with the president". Guess what? You didn't do it.

And then Congress voted to not override the veto.
What is the problem that these Commies have a hard time understanding? Move on already.

We ought to be holding out own Rallies to demand that these Democrat turncoats fund the troops and their mission. This especially includes the 2 Republicrats that voted for sustaining the Veto.
