That should have read

Frankly I think he got off way to light but at least or I should say perhaps others will learn you do not disobey the UCMJ.

What crap. My son is doing everything he can to meet the requirements to make corporal. If they told him to stand on his head in his dress blues, he’d do it. He isn’t whining, bitc#ing, and complaining. He knows why he’s there and who signed on the dotted line to get him there. This POS has the frigging two stripes and he’s a @unt.

I called the Associated Press and the Washington Post National Desk with the inside story. Neither included the information because it would ruin the "media template" they want.

Kokesh was busted to Corporal for bringing a Saturday Night Special from an Iraqi policeman. No a war trophy, just a Saturday Night Special. Note that after Virginia tech, the media is in love with this "George Washington University graduate student" who but for an NCO catching him with contraband, would have been just like Cho, on campus with a gun.

See http://www.ivaw.org/node/787/

Kokesh used his military ID last month to gain access to an Army post in Germany where units are readlying for an Iraq deployment. He and two other Vietnam Veterans Against The War re-enactors went to the Dining Facility where he read an statement calling for the troops to desert while the other two handed out anti-war literature. At the bottom of the page linked above is a YouTube video of it.

When ordered to stop while leaving the post, they refused that order.

What Kokesh did is known as subversion. The Marines should have put him in the brig for that.

I am as angry now as I have ever been in my life. What a POS.
