First, there were deniers. Now, we have greenhousers! IMHO, the terms of invective are now more equal.

Limbaugh cited this author a month ago and referred to the fact that climate models don’t factor in precipitation. WTF? And this is all called settled science. BS.

This is very interesting. Liberals try to rationalize a conclusion that is contrary to common acceptable thought. This gives them the feeling that they are smarter than the average bear. Here is a lefty taking an opposing view to global warming because he thinks that is the accepted norm.

Michaels is often slammed as a hired gun for the fossil fuel industry

Why is it that the "hired guns" of the greenie kooks aren't called so in a derogatory manner? Perhaps someone who really knows something about fossil fuels just might have the right perspective on this issue.

I know the answer, but it is frustrating.

From: http://www.sepp.org/keyissue.html - “Controversies about environmental hazards and the management of natural resources have spilled over into attacks on scientists who do not subscribe to “politically correct” views. Scientific evidence based on observed facts is being subordinated to speculative theory and unverified computer models. Scientific debate is being replaced by pressure to conform to a new orthodoxy, reinforced by the control of research funds by governmental agencies. Particularly disturbing is the increasing evidence that this funding biases even scientific organizations and university science faculties. Yet the future of science depends on open and untrammeled debate. For related commentary, see Misuse of Science.”

IMHO, Global Warming...and consequent “carbon rationing” will be the excuse the US government uses to cover up a pending failure to be able to maintain, through diplomacy and military force, a reasonable price of oil. It will be the guise for fuel rationing and control..rather than an open and public admission of failure. That GWB, and BTW, even Newt Gingrich, has now signed on means its a done deal.

The "science" of global warming is bogus. the sun is responsible for the warming of the Earth.

Henrik Svensmark's research has proved that fact.
