This is actually funny, but it did lower my opinion of DM.

Morris just likes Bloomy's rabid, unabashed anti-gun platform.
A lot.

Oh yeah, he’ll play real well here in the South. Go ahead and pencil him in as POTUS. How about he chooses Sharpton a a running mate as to enhance his already broad appeal?

Didn’t Morris predict that Hillery would be defeated in the NYC Senatorial run (subtract NYC from NY State, and she would never have had a chance).
In any case, Morris is a *very* political animal. He may just be encouraging Bloomberg for everyone’s benefit. An independent Bloomberg candidacy, in a three way race between Bloomberg, Hillery, and Fred... Fred pretty clearly wins with a split leftest vote.

Morris must figure Bloomberg is the only conceivable candidate that will give him a job.

Dick Morris gets this way on a fairly regular basis. His credibility floats in and out with the tides.
It's too cloudy here to tell, but is there a full moon out tonight?

If Bloomberg ever had a chance at all (doubtful), the fact that Dick Morris is bullish on him means his career is deader than dead.
Dick Morris is the universal negative predictor, as his accuracy rate in making political predictions is an astonishing 0%. If you flipped a coin, you'd expect to get the right answer on a political bet half the time -- how Morris is so consistently wrong on election after election after election is just beyond me.
He must be the single least competent pundit in the long, ignominious history of punditry.

Can you, or anyone imagine MB coming down to Texas with that NY accent and expecting anyone to listen? New-Yorkers have a different view of the world, and it differs greatly from the majority. It’s why Rudy will never be elected.

IMHO, DM has the right idea, but the wrong person.
If Giuliani ran as an Independent, with the right VP, that could spell trouble.
