Saving the planet while cutting economic inequality.

If ever there was proof that global warmingism is nothing more than a means to cultural revolution, this is it.

The goal of the eco-kooks is nothing less than global taxation and world regulation.

The Greens ARE the Reds.

"Porsches produce too much carbon dioxide."

Don't know much about the newer ones, but the Porsche 911s from the 70s and 80s got pretty darn good gas mileage.

“If ever there was proof that global warmingism is nothing more than a means to cultural revolution, this is it.”

If anybody had bothered paying attention, they’s have known that 2 decades ago....

The entire Global Whoring debate boils down to this simple quote, from 18 years ago:

“We Must Embrace Environmetalism, For Socialism To Survive”
Hans-Jochen Vogel, Chairman of the West German Social Democratic Party-1989

Banning fast cars is just envy disguised as concern for the earth.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

OK.
Maybe banning them is a little irrational in a free society. If some people have the time and money to do it why not?

On the other hand, most owners of those cars are arrested development types who actually have anger issue problems with others who choose --- say --- a Prius.

Puzzling, that.

In our neighborhood, dorks who abuse fast cars and terrorize the neighborhood don't last long; first the neighbors deal with cars-as-recreation directly; second the ding-dongs end up running into tress and houses until they run out of money and/or insurance.

How to tell if a person is a commie: Ask them where they stand on auto-emission and gas consumption standards. If they sit there like jelly on a bun....you’ve got ‘em, they’re redder’n a wino’s eyeball.

The Global WarmingTM jihad has nothing to do with concern for the environment. It's another in a long line of power grabs.

Political subjects come down to one of two issues: money or power. The Founding Fathers began this nation with the belief that its citizens should wield ultimate power over it, subject to the grace of Almighty God. Politically influential groups don't particularly like that arrangement.

The great “leveling influence” is still hard at work.

Maybe this time, “perfect” social equality will be achieved.

And maybe pigs will fly.

I, for one, am just as glad the pigs do NOT fly. You thought pigeons leave a mess....

Fast cars on public streets = stupid people

As much as I disdain big brother I have never seen the rational ( other than vanity ) for a car that will exceed much over the max speed limit.

130+mph when the average urban speed limit is under 55 is asinine. I have always said that they ( manufacturers ) can gear them to get sufficient torque with less top end speed and get better mileage.

Still big bro needs to stay home.

Yep, and the "smart growthers" are tearing down any historical landmarks in local communities. Live in a box. A big damn expensive box. Don't wonder what once what there.

You knew they'd set their targets on antique cars some day. As it stands now, they are exempted from modern pollution regulations.

Ferraris and Porsches properly tuned ... Hmmmmm ... do they emit more pollutants per gallon of gas than a Prius running on its gas engine? Just wondering.

Do they even have pollution controls on the cars in Europe? They did not some years ago when my Dad’s friend got a grey market Porsche.

Thinking about carbon sink holes, isn’t Hollywood, in the fact the entire entertainment industry, an unnecessary waste of carbon. I can’t think of a single thing that comes from that industry that we can’t live without, including the evening news.
