I have a nephew who has sadly taken to the homosexual lifestyle. I disagree with his choice. It is biblically wrong. Do you think I am going to win him back by judgement, condemnation, and the like? He is still God's child. God doesn't hate him. God's heart is saddened. God wants him to come to Him! Will treating him badly because of his lifestyle choice get him to see the LOVE of God? No! I hate the sin in his life, but I still love my nephew. and, you know what, of all the people in his life...he stayed in touch with myself and my kids when he would communicate with no one else. He knows what I believe, but I don't have to beat him up with it, or cause him further pain. What do you think drove him to the lifestyle??? Pain. Confusion. Condemnation. Judgementalism. Will continuing these bring him back, or save him? No.

so...for what is worth...Love the sinner and hate the sin. God does. IF He didn't -- NONE of us would be here because we are all fallen.

'nuf said.

Unfortunately, liberals would turn what you have said into a reason for government to fund the homosexual lifestyle in the name of compassion.

NOT my aim, thought or intent. ::laughing:: It doesn't need funding to help them! Sheesh!

And Romney’s supporters fail to accept this fact. They’re like the Roody Rooters

Well, as a Rudy Rooter myself, I would say that Romney, as a practical matter (not rhetorically) governed much further to the left than Hizzoner.

For example, I can't imagine Mitt campaigning to expel pornography from residential neighborhoods, or taking away public funding for blasphemous art, as Rudy did.

Certainly not your intent ~ your post was very clear.

Liberals would twist your sincerity in attempt to sell false compassion.
All the while claiming we should be funding homosexual activism!

Romney's aides have told WND that.....he had no choice but to direct clerks and others to change state marriage forms and begin registering same-sex couples.

BALONEY!!! I'd have fought it until they dragged me kicking and screaming out of the Governor's Mansion.

Romney never even thought about standing up to the court.

Love the sinner; hate the sin.

so you find this thought offensive?

Read Psalms 5:5. With regard to God it says: "The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity."

You hit it right on the head.

Normalizing homosexuality is the goal of the left, and anyone not buying it is labeled ‘hateful’ and abnormal!

“Love the sinner and hate the sin.”

Absolutely!

I know three gay people, one I love, one I like, and one I don’t care for, just like I would if they were heterosexual.

But I still don’t support special rights for gays.

But the court's decision conflicts with the constitutional philosophy of three co-equal branches of government: executive, legislative and judicial, Titus said.

True, certainly, but he had to go back to 1857(!) to find the last time anyone stood up to a court decision. He makes it sound as if this was the first decision ever in which a court overstepped its bounds.

You Brian Camenker folks aka MassResistance are into overkill.

I had enough of it, dealing with EV and others like him who are beyond being rational, your obession is unreasonable.

No one is as bad as your group tried to make them out to be!

I will be so glad when this election is over so folks can get back to normal.

I rather follow the Lord commandments and exercise his faith and talks on love!

I want to leave the door ajar so any child of God who wants to repent and has faith that the atonement of God can heal and enable one to know they can return home to his Lord can.

It seems you can not see this, but you way is turning his fallen children away!

1. 1 Jn. 4:
7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

2. John 13: 34-35
34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

3. John 15: 12, 17
12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.

4. 1 Jn. 3: 11, 23
11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

5. Rom. 12: 10
10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

6. Rom. 13: 8
8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

7. Gal. 5: 13
13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

8. Eph. 4: 2
2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

9. 1 Thes. 3: 12
12 And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you:

10. 1 Thes. 4: 9
9 But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.

11. Heb. 10: 24
24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

12. 1 Pet. 1: 22
22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

13. 1 Pet. 3: 8
8 Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:

14. 2 Jn. 1: 5
5 And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.

What you said is so true, there is enough condamnation going on in the world, and it because of this very attitude of some who take it upon themselves to do the thinking for the Lord, which that kind of behavior has chased more folks over into the Dems Liberal camp.

Instead of taking upon ourselves the name of the Jesus Christ and doing his will.

When it was said “Thy will be done” they are talking about the Lord’s will being done, not man!

Many of you need to read the beatitudes again!

People in Massachusetts have been saying this for a long time. And I’ve been pointing it out, as well.

The Mass. Supreme Court directed the legislature to pass laws legalizing homosexual marriage. The legislature refused to do this. Governor Romney ordered all the justices of the peace in Mass. to perform and legalize homosexual marriage, or he would fire them.

HE DID NOT HAVE TO DO THIS. I don’t think he is a closet gay, or anything like that. But I do think he bends with the wind, and all the media were after him to do this.

Probably gay marriage is not actually legal in Massachusetts even now, because neither the courts nor the governor have the power to make a law like this. But it’s a fait accompli, a gay-liberal coup. A lot of gay couples have gotten married. And Romney is the idiot responsible.

There is a separation of duties between Church and State.

Government should stick to it duty to defend the nation and keep the nation solven, maintain the infrastructure, and order in the land.

The mission of the Church is to feed the soul and the poor and comfort the sick and council the fallen in how to recover.

Some of you folks are so consumed with MR are you aware that Spain is the Landlord of our infrastructure!
