Just heard from friend at LAX that the terminals were evacuated. Now we can't even reach the friend.... Not sure if something's up, but that's what we're hearing here....
No need to worry it might be a terrorist threat or anything like that because those who have our safety at heart have said with straight faces there’s no such thing.
No mention of it on FNC yet...

Nothing on the FAA Airport Status page for LAX at the moment (other than delays for flights to Chicago and San Fran).
Maybe LAX is disabling cell service for this.
My office is right across the street from LAX and see nothing unusual right now. Just a FYI

Burbank airport terminal evacuated
Terminal A at Bob Hope Airport in Burbank was evacuated briefly today after a passenger in the security area was improperly screened, authorities said.The individual has since been accounted for, said Victor Gill, airport spokesman.
At 8:35 a.m., the terminal checkpoint, which serves Southwest, US Airways, JetBlue and Skybus airlines was reopened and passengers were in the process of being rescreened for entry, he said.
I love those palm trees by the road leaving the airport. I always feel they welcomes me warmly to LA!

Are you sure your friend isn’t referring to Bob Hope airport? I don’t see anything on LAX at the moment.
It has just been reported on KFI radio that there was a security breach at Bob Hope/Burbank Airport. It happened around 8:30 AM in Terminal A. All travelers and personnel have been evacuated to the street. All flights will remain on the ground to wait for passengers once the security breach has been solved.
