The US military has also contracted R&D dollars to create riot control apparatus that can fry humans. The R&D resulted in contracts, and the equipment has now been field tested at low power, just enough to cause headaches and make protestors lose their bowels. The technology can be used with increased power and cause brain damage, though the equipment now won’t do that for obvious reasons.

‘This is different than prior situations because the sonar is radiating outward many nautical miles within certain layers of the ocean, and are affecting the entire population of whales in the area.’

Tango Sierra for the whales then. Natl Security is more important.

Oh my.

The day that the National Marine Fisheries Services issues an ORDER to the United States Navy means that we as a nation are doomed.

This is madness.

From the reference that you supplied:

“There is scientific uncertainty surrounding the totality of the effects active sonar transmissions may have on marine mammals.”

That’s “damning and well documented”?

The International Whaling Commission was taken over by moonbats ages ago. It's no different that the WWF, and promotes idiotic "science" such as that propagated by global warming almarists, and rallies along side groups like WWF. For example:

"WWF believes the IWC must address all of the threats to cetacean populations, particularly that of bycatch and climate change. Over 300,000 whales and dolphins are caught and killed in fishing nets each year. Bycatch, like whaling removes animals permanently from the wild population.

For some populations, bycatch has replaced whaling as the biggest cause of mortality. Climate change may also impact the areas of the oceans in which whales live, and affect migration patterns. Climate change, depletion of the ozone layer and the related rise in UV radiation may also lead to a fall in the population of krill, a primary food source for many marine species.

Other articles include:

It doesn't take long to figure out what the IWC is full of.

Since whales communicate with similar low frequencies sound waves, I guess they “fry each others brains” all the time too.
Maybe whales should be caught and made mute to save them from themselves.

Oh I get it now.
You've been spending too much time on Tom Beardens website, and reading that kooks theories on the government and it's secret EM devices, the Soviet unions "woodpecker grid", Soviet Unions EM attacks which caused the shuttle to blow up, causes storms, droughts, earthquakes, and of course the EM defence shield that the government keeps running 24-7 over the entire USA, and other kooky stuff .

Here , I'll share the web site so others can have a laugh as well.

Mind control

I haven’t spent any time on any kook sites, the sound cannon used by US troops in Iraq and Israeli troops in the West Bank I found out about from articles posted on FreeRepublic.

The poster Justa isn’t aware of acoustics and how it can be used to harm stuff.

That device used in Iraq isn’t a low frequency device, it’s a high frequency device and has to be aimed. It also has a limited range.

It’s nothing like sonar.

Sure he does. Look what happens when Liberal moonbats listen to too much Bon Jovi at high volume.

Sonar uses low frequencies. High frequencies (the ones that can actually cause harm, ie cause glass to shatter and give headaches) don't travel as well in water.

Whales use both low and high frequencies to communicate, above and below sonar frequencies. At worst, sonar would sound like a foriegn language to whales, same as you tuning your ham radio and picking up someone speaking chinese.

Just a few points to consider ...

1. The Pacific is a big ocean.
2. Whales are intelligent creatures.
3. Whales swim far and wide.
4. Whales dive deep.
5. If the whales don’t like the sonar’s noise they will swim and dive to avoid it.

It’s impossible to make an edible pie crust without lard. And I thought I’d starve to death when all the pastry manufacturers switched to vegetable shortening.

This is just one battle won. There are more ongoing.

Judge Bans Navy from Using Sonar Off Southern California - 8/6/07

"Today, dozens of countries — including North Korea and Iran — have extremely quiet diesel-electric submarines, and more than 180 of them operate in the Pacific," said Vice Adm. Samuel Locklear, commander of the U.S. 3rd Fleet. "Active sonar is the best system we have to detect and track them."

I believe you're confusing microwaves with sound waves. Sound waves are kinetic energy; microwaves are electromagnetic energy -the energy which can "fry" stuff.

Not funny. I can see you have never had to watch a pod of whales die in agony on a beach ,stranded with no hope. We’re all God’s creatures.
