For 20 years I proudly served my country as a pilot in the Air Force. I also served as the senior military aide to the President of the United States, carrying the "nuclear football." During this time I had the chance to work with the finest individuals this nation will ever know -- the men and women of America's military. Today our troops are fighting a war that Islamic jihadists declared against the United States more than 25 years ago. Unfortunately and undeniably, there are voices in our nation urging Americans to turn their backs on our troops, cut off their funding, and force them to abandon their missions in Iraq in ignominious defeat. We simply cannot and must not let that happen. We learned that lesson in Vietnam, and we can ill afford to repeat it in Iraq. Will you help me? Will you be my wingman in supporting our troops and our mission in the War on Terror? I am writing to ask you, no - to urge you - to please join Move America Forward's "Fight for Victory Tour" this September 3rd - 15th. I hope you can drive along with our caravan of vehicles as we cross the nation or, at a minimum, turn out for one of our 27 pro-troop rallies that will take place along the way. I'll be traveling along with the caravan and look forward to meeting you - fellow Americans who refuse to surrender to our enemies. The more we raise, the more people we inform, the bigger the crowds we reach, and the louder the message we send. That message is: "We don't lose! And we will not surrender to Islamofascists or American Leftists who seek our defeat!" This is the critical juncture for our nation and our military in our global war against Islamofascism.
