I was talking to a friend today who said we are going to go through six months of a cooling period before it gets really hot again.

If this is true, we here in Texas would like a lot more of it. We’ve had one of the coolest, wettest summers on record here.

Um, no we are not. “The Sky is Falling” is just hysterics, and just because YOU have bought the scenario doesn’t mean WE have to. Get a real life.

“Is anyone paying attention to climate change?”

None of the smart people. It’s not caused by man and there’s nothing we can do about it. Go contemplate your navel or something more productive.

Is anyone paying attention to climate change? (Whiney Liberal Alert!)

Not me!

I am much more worried about large meteor strikes , tides (ever notice how sneaky those are? And they keep changing, dammit!

Also all possible ELEs (Extinction Level Events).

Just saying.

Funny that not a single habourmaster in the world is reporting sea-level rise.

But ... that would mean the IPCC was just making stuff up to fit their One-World Government Agenda. That would be crass and obvious even for socialists, wouldn’t it?

The Global Whiners have to do one thing to get me to believe they are really serious about doing anything: Encourage widespread development and use of nuclear power. Until I see them support that it is just another manufactured crisis to creatively tax and regulate.

Another scientist says, “If you asked me a couple of years ago when the Arctic could lose all of its ice, then I would have said 2100, or 2070 maybe. But now I think that 2030 is a reasonable estimate.”

These 'scientist' will keep raising their numbers until someone is finally scared. It is all about fear-mongering. They are liars with an agenda.

the summertime Arctic could be totally free of ice by 2030 – an event almost inconceivable for most of us.

And totally inconceivable for the rest of us because it's pure BS. And, BTW, I don't think that word means what they think it means.

For example, do we know how much of Grand Cayman’s land mass will disappear with a six inch rise in sea level, with a one-foot rise, with a three foot-rise, and so on?

My advice ... don't wait too long.
