I think you are painting Europe with an over-broad brush. Yes, the leftists have control in much of Europe. But there is opposition. We need to support the opposition, not write off the whole continent.
Some entire nations, notably Poland, are on the right track.
Others, like the Scandinavian’s seem to be waking up.
This demonstration was run by a party that has been in forefront of trying to end the influx of Moslems into Europe. They are also deeply opposed to Euro-Socialism (and obviously the feeling is mutual). They have prevented the government of Belgium from being formed for over six months, and may well cause the fracture of that country as the free-market oriented Dutch north throws off its association with the French dominated south.
Such divisions and battles are springing up all over Europe.
You are right. I had in mind “Old” Europe.
