IT was just after midnight when the 69th Squadron of Israeli F15Is crossed the Syrian coast-line. On the ground, Syria’s formidable air defences went dead. An audacious raid on a Syrian target 50 miles from the Iraqi border was under way.
At a rendezvous point on the ground, a Shaldag air force commando team was waiting to direct their laser beams at the target for the approaching jets. The team had arrived a day earlier, taking up position near a large underground depot. Soon the bunkers were in flames.

Excellent. If this is actually the case, that it was a nuclear cache, it better be a wakeup call to all in the middle east, not just our alley, Israel, as well as all in the west, including Europe. Any nuclear fallout I wonder?

I guess the Israelis are the only ones who realize what's at stake. The US, with our country being crippled by the influence of the closet communists (aka demonRats), only contemplates action after we've lost a few thousand people.
Israel is going to have to execute numerous pre-emptive strikes to protect themselves. Iran is probably on the short list.

Any nuclear fallout I wonder?Wanna bet that the IAF used their new bunker-busters supplied courtesy of the US? If I were the Syrians, I'd have stored my weapons material as deep as possible. If this were the case, it might have collapsed the bunker onto itself & sealed it.
Whole lotta assumptions, though.

When Israel bombed the hell out of Saddam’s Osirak nuclear site, it was all over the media map. Can anyone show me a New York Times link for this news ?
