I know many folks in Friedman’s home town of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, who say that his mother frequently expresses her heartbreak at his anti-American, anti-Israel writings!

Friedman is a complete fool - riding the crest of a self-deluding wave of semi-literate, pseudo-intellectual geeks who glom onto Friedman’s inane mental masturbation that resulted from his jet-lagged confusion about an international businessman’s throw-away comment about the existence of a
‘level-playing’ field in business with some sort of flat-world connection. Friedman’s hypothesis in his Flat-world book is supported by an exposition that thrills those whose sum total of deep thought reading begins and ends with the ‘guide-book’ to the latest role-playing simulation. He and his techie acolytes prove the shallowness of what passes for intellectual thought and analysis among the denizens of Silicon Valley and dailykos bloggers.

Friedman, Krugman, Dowd,... didn’t miss these snarks back when the Times was less available. Don’t know why a paper that purportedly attempts to turn a profit by selling ads would employ and promote these and other snide superiority complex-ites who disgust and enrage so many of us out in the part of real America that they sometimes call “flyover country”.

Interesting he claims wants a 09/12 President yet Thomas El-Freedman is stuck in his 09/10 world view.

Come on Tommy. Tell the truth. You, like most of the rest of the leftist trash in the politically corrupt media, have NEVER moved beyond 09-10-01, you don’t want an 09-12-01 President. You want a 01-1993 to 01-2001 President.

You want a President who will simply ignore all the problems in the world so your comfortably self satisfied pseudo intellectual little bubble world is not disturbed by any smidgen of world geo political realities.
