Lotta “truthers” must have access to mommy’s credit card. I wonder how many put down “military” as their occupation?

Amazing what a gun, ski mask and a bit of motivation can do!

Good luck RP. You’ll need something to win.

Looks like the million all came from individual, small donations, too. The campaign is reporting that it came from a little over 14,000 individual donations which breaks down to less than $100.00 per donation on average. No special interest or PAC there, just folks who support their particular candidate. I’ll be interested to see how the other candidate’s donations break down once the FEC’s 3rd quarter reports come out.

"Over $1,000,000 raised in seven days for the Ron Paul 2008 presidential campaign."

Yep, a million bucks. And if he'd give it all to me I might think about voting for him.

How much of this is raised by the same people who contribute to DailyK00ks projects?

He seems to enjoy running for president. I hope he doesn’t decide to run as a libertarian or independent, thereby ensuring another Clinton in the White House.

That’s a good amount, but it’s only 4 million a month, if they could sustain it, which it doesn’t sound like they can if it was an all-out blitz.

Still, Thompson’s 8 mil sounds big until you realise that’s just over $600,000 a week over the 3-month period (13 weeks).

So congratulations to Ron Paul. If we are lucky, he’s getting money from the left-wing anti-war crowd trying to mess with our race, so it’s a million not availalbe to the democrats.

Now if he’d use the money to actually ATTACK the democrats on the many things he disagrees with them about, instead of attacking republicans on the one or two things he disagrees with US about, we might get something good out of having so many candidates.

Say what you will about 2004, the democrats were smart, they had 9 people and every one drew money from a different group, almost all took matching primary funds, and they used the money to attack Bush.

Pardon me but sounds like,
Over $1,000,000 raised in seven days for the
Ron Paul 2008 presidential campaign.

Yippee for Ron. Please open a dictionary and learn the difference between "then" and "than". While you're at it, check out the difference between "women" and "woman" too, just so I don't have to look like a butt-head by correcting you if you mess that one up in the future.

Sorry all. Pet peaves.

Wow, a whole million, huh? Paul can now proudly stand at the bottom of the heap.
(Psst. Fred just raised 8 mill. He’s only been the race for 3 weeks!)
(Psst Psst. Fred has 70,000 donors...RP has what?!)

Just out of curiosity, who do you suppose Paul would pick as his running mate?

In a related note, Birkenstock’s sales have dropped to a record low and the war on drugs is officially ended as pot smokers are suddenly broke.

And for those that live in the Texas 114th Congressional District, there is a sane alternative to being represented by Ron Paul. Chris Peden is mounting a primary challenge to Paul. Check it out at: http://www.chrispeden.org/

Peden is a true conservative that led the charge to roll back Friendswood property taxes as Mayor Pro Tem.

He voted to limit eminent domain in Friendswood.

He supports the Global War on Terror

Here is a PRO Ron Paul thread on Freerepublic.

Totally unacceptable IMO, and oh yes, this guy's opinion too.
