Sean Hannity Raising Money For Schwarzenegger [10/02/06] (Is Sean really a conservative?)

Sean Hannity Raising Money For Schwarzenegger

Conservative Fox News commentator Sean Hannity will be the "special guest" Oct. 26 at a fund-raiser for Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Don't tell Democrats who have embraced Schwarzenegger this year after he raised the minimum wage, signed legislation curbing global warming, and actively courted the Democratic Legislature.

The event at the Sheraton Grand in Sacramento costs $1,000 per person, but "platinum" sponsors can pay $100,000. Platinum sponsors listed on the invitation (at left and below) are Chevron executive Jack Coffey; developer Gerry Kamilos and his wife, Karen; and McDonald's franchise owner C.C. Yin and his wife, Regina.

Hannity has been a frequent cheerleader for the Republican governor and a constant thorn to some liberals who see him — and this is not too over-the-top — as the devil. During last year's special election, Hannity sat down with Schwarzenegger for an interview that included such questions as, "Is it still the greatest job you've ever had?"

It's really hard to believe any conservative would raise money for liberal Republican.

Hannity loves to claim he is principled. But, he goes out of his way to raise money get the same RINOs elected to office.

He would do less damage to conservatism as a liberal talk show host.

Hannity would raise money for Hillary if she ran on the GOP ticket.

Hannity is alro rooting and pushing for Rudy. His Conservative credentials are not looking good. I like Schwarzenegger, however, he is certainly no Conservative. Our only choice is Fred Thompson and it is a good choice.

I think Sean enjoys the attention of the “celebrity candidates” and being able to say he is “good friends” with people that are political “celebrities”. He likes being invited to their parties because it makes him feel like a big shot.

Hannity like so many others has fallen victim to the Washington Insider Syndrome. It is incurable.

After hobnobing with these people for years you start to become one of them. It’s part of a big club, and loyalty to the fellow members starts to take precedence in your life.

The US Senate is probably the best example of this. After a few years there you can kiss your principles and beliefs good bye. It’s your relationship with the fellow clubmembers that counts most. Think Trent Lott, Lindsey Graham, Chuck Hagel, Arlen Specter, John Warner.

Ironically, Democrats seem immune to this disease. They remain rigid in their liberal beliefs.

Sometimes a woman will marry a man (or a man will marry a woman) thinking that she will be able to change him after they’re married. I think Sean HAnnity has this condition when it comes to cozying up with liberal republicans. I think theres much to like about Guliani but it seems to me that some of the same stuff we were told about ARNOLD (lib on social issues while conservative on economic issues) we are now told about Guliani. It turns out the ARNOLD is not even moderate on economic issues.

Hannity would raise money for Hillary if she ran on the GOP ticket.

Exactly. Hannity is a Republican first, conservative second.

Of all the radio talking heads, "Great American" Hannity is by far my least favorite.

Here's Hannity showing his true colors with a Catholic priest who had the audacity to criticize Hannity:

Proving that he is out-of-touch with grass-roots conservatism and merely a pawn of the Republican party.

His rhetoric doesn't match his actions anymore and it's time he started paying for it professionally.

I like Schwarzenegger,...

The only thing that created a liking for Arnie in my book is when he stated "Osteoporosis (snicker) Baby" in a movie.

I stopped listening a long time ago, because for every conservative he had on, he had three liberals to counter them. When I listen to talk radio, I don’t need to hear the liberal side, if I did, I only need turn to any of the alphabet networks.

Hannity is a Republican first, conservative second.

Hannity is a businessman as a professional in the media industry first.

Why would anyone think otherwise?
