>>>
Mrs. Clintons aides said her statement was intended to signal that she broadly supported Mr. Spitzers goal of awarding drivers licenses to illegal immigrants.<<<
This is a potential slam dunk for Republicans. For once, use strategery...don't use it until the appropriate moment. Hold it in the "bag of tricks". But document everything she says as she digs a deeper hole on immigration.
When the timing is right, after her nomination, after whomsoever is the Pubbie nominee, and well into the campaign...hit her with the immigration issue - long and hard and six ways to Sunday....and trot out her multiple choice confused responses of the past couple of days. My guess is August/September 2008.
My faith in the Pubbies being able to use strategery is as a low ebb....this one, if screwed up, will be a crying shame.

but she certainly handed the GOP a presentif the GOP cares to accept it.I wouldn't count on the utterly incompetent GOP party machinery (such as it is) having the guts to take advantage of anything handed to them by the rats. At this point I am jaded, and my checkbook remains closed. I've been throwing away unopened envelopes from every arm of the GOP fund-raising operation for at least a year now. At least two per week. Until they show some guts and some fight and some smashmouth political will, I am done with them.

Of course, Bill had it easy. The stronger candidates in 1992 stayed out because Bush I was viewed as too strong a candidate to run against. He also had Big Ears Perot helping him out.

Hillary Rodham Clinton offered support today for Gov. Eliot Spitzers effort There's probably a totally plausible explaination for her comments today......Maybe she was talking to a bunch of mexicans.

Hillary is like a Morton’s steak, which any of the Republican candidates would relish chowing down on in a presidential debate.

A day late, a dollar short. She just doesn’t get the fact that we are, indeed, listening.
Our lawmakers must quit thinking of us as slack-jawed droolers who have no inkling about what they are doing. We can recognize obfuscation at 100 paces. No doubt it’s the public school system.

hillary, it's me. I know you're screening your calls, so listen up: I did exactly what you told me to do with this id thing, and now look? Have you seen what they're saying about me? I don't like it, Hillary, I don't like it one bit. I did this for you, Hillary, and if you think I'm gonna stand here and be made a fool of...I've...I've got too much on my plate right now. If you don't say something to back me up, Hill, they'll start digging deeper, and you know if that happens, you're gonna get a whole lot more publicity than you really want. Listen -- oh, damn, it's that idiot Bloomberg. I gotta go. Look, Hill, we carried a lot of water for you. You gotta do your part.
Click.

Senator Clinton supports governors like Governor Spitzer who believe they need such a measure to deal with the crisis caused by this administrations failure to pass comprehensive immigration reform, her campaign said. What a face lift weasel, it all depends on what your definition of is is.

The majority of the American people are against this. She’s just showing her true colors for one and all to see. IMO, she’s reaffirming what a moron she is.

He also had Big Ears Perot helping him out. We can be sure that hillary's people are looking around, figuring out who will play the Perot spoiler this time. At least one possible candidate readily springs to mind.

Her focus groups and overly paid consultants have decided she should SUPPORT giving Drivers licenses to Illegal Aliens...
Nice, firm opinion there. America CANNOT afford this evil clown to be President!

If you are thinking Ron Paul, I suspect his antiwar stance would syphon off more dem votes than republican ones. Bloomberg, too, but for different reasons (social liberal stance).

I think Rush hit the nail on the head on this one.
New York, like every other state, has motor voter, which means that you can register to vote when you get or renew your driver’s license.
If illegals can get a drivers license, then they can also register to vote. That’s a lot of new Democratic voters!
Remember, Hillary once sponsored a bill to let convicted felons vote.

heres to many more debates like that one... ..you can rest assured..Tim Russert won't be the narrator
