I’d love to have a ten spot for every person that she’s threatened or intimidated. I’d be on easy street. Please tell me that the American people will see through her facade before November 2008.

I wouldn’t have a mirror in my office either, if I was a nasty old dried up Harridan.

Of course She Who Must Not Be Named didn’t have a mirror - She cast no reflection, so why would She have one?

"Say in authentic terms what you believe. The GOP nominee must highlight his core convictions to help people understand who he is and to set up a natural contrast with Clinton, both on style and substance." First, you have to actually have core convictions that naturally contrast with Hillary. Being pro-life, pro-family, pro-Constitution, pro-gun, etc, would go far.

This is the controversial new Rovian column - any campaign advice from him should be considered. I dunno... the same guy who almost lost in 2000; came up with "compassionate conservatism"; almost lost in 2004; lost the Congress in 2006; and operates on that old maxim, "Of course they'll vote Republican, where ELSE are they going to go?"

She probably did not put the mirror in her office, she just ordered some flunky to do it.
It might even have been her secret service protection as she treated them like her flunkies.

Nice column, but it’s amazing that Rove fails to recognize the most important issue for winning in ‘08, and the one that Her Thighness has no clue: SECURING OUR BORDERS AND ENFORCING OUR IMMIGRATION LAWS!!!!

In reality, she’s eminently beatable. Her contentious history evokes unpleasant memories. She lacks her husband’s political gifts and rejects much of the centrism he championed. The health-care fiasco showed her style and ideology. All of which helps explain why, for a front runner in an open race for the presidency, she has the highest negatives in history.

I’ve got an issue to beat Hillary Clinton with.
Hillary Clinton is strongly concerned about global warming but opposes putting nuclear waste in Yucca Mountain in Nevada. Therefore, one of the following must be true:
1. She doesn’t really believe global warming is a threat and she’s just using it for a campaign issue.
2. She does think global warming is a threat, but thinks Nevada’s three electoral votes are more important that this serious threat to the planet.
3. She thinks we can somehow cut down on CO2 emissions by a significant amount without using nuclear power. That proposition is absurd.
4. She thinks the nuclear waste should go someplace else, even though Yucca Mountain was chosen after a multiyear study and it would probably take decades to find another place.
I wish Hillary would explain which of these four is correct. My guess is option #2. Not one of these four options would reflect well on her. I wish the Republicans would press the point.
To: Baladas
Hillary is about the past. She is not about the future. The Republican nominee needs to drive this point home to the masses. She has lead nothing. The people of the USA are looking for a leader.

Oh yeah, I'm sure that mirror wasn't hers.
A friend of mine who was the only Republican in a family of heavy-hitter Democratic fundraisers (they were all lawyers except him) was invited to dinner at the White House during the '90s. He told me that at one point, an aide offered him a private tour.
When they were in Hillary's office after hours, the aide was paged to an urgent call and left for a couple of minutes. He said he suddenly realized he was all alone in Hillary Clinton's office! So he decided to look around. He noticed a little room off to the side. There was a huge picture of Hillary on the middle of the far wall, and it was surrounded by dozens of other photos. He assumed it was just photos of Hillary with celebrities and world leaders, as many prominent people might have. Then he realized that, no, they were all pictures of Hillary alone. He said he began laughing in astonishment as he realized that he was standing in a shrine...Hillary's shrine to herself!
No, I will not tell you his name, for his own protection. But I swear, he is the real deal. I know his wealthy family, and he's my longtime financial advisor.

We beat her by promoting conservative principles, such as limited government, lower taxes, national security, border control, and sanctity of life and marriage. This leaves RINO’s such as Mayor Giuliani and Open Border sellouts like McCain out to pasture.
