BTW, you know that Trent Lott is resigning from the Senate at the end of this session... Just a coincidence, of course...
But he sounds so much like a Democrat:

I guess that we now know why old Trent is resigning. He just couldn’t withstand another scandal, even if it only involved his brother-in-law, which is doubtful.

Scruggs in one of the riches trial lawyers in the country. He specializes in class action lawsuits and has a net worth over $1B!!!! He has a large firm in MS and sues major national and multinational corporations on behalf of MS residents who may or may not have been actually harmed in any way.
Scruggs is so good at what he does that he doesn’t need to go on TV and advertise. He doesn’t have to put his name on all kinds of things or do publicity interviews. He operates under the radar mostly while still ravaging corporate America.
Well, I guess this explains Lott's sudden resignation.
Just skimming through some of the links on Google he sounds like a major league a-wipe, the kind of unethical trial lawyer that makes the Breck Girl look like a nun. The kind of scum-sucking parasite that has been milking “the system” for a long time at the expense of sound public policy and reasonable laws well interpreted...... even if he is B-I-L to Trent Lott he must be a Demagogue..... or most certainly a RINO.
