Blatantly obvious. You see anyone around here stating that the perps should be executed only because the victims were white? Didn't thing so.
As far as your point that this particular story shouldn't be published because racial tensions might be exacerbated, I disagree. Murders should always should be reported. ...and the skin color of those involved shouldn't have anything to do with it.
Then the news would be nothing but a listing of murders in major cities.
It may be blatantly obvious to you and I but a lot of people in this country on BOTH sides of the racial divide DO take the race of the victim or perp into consideration when judging a case.OJ anyone?Or all the white killers of innocent blacks who were set free by all white juries in the Jim Crow South?
I was around during 1967 when this country was on the verge of a racial cataclysm.I don’t want to return to those toxic times.
