Fox News Foments Republican Schism

I am amazed at how unfair and unbalanced the coverage of Mike Huckabee has been on Fox News this past week.

In the past week:

On the Beltway Boys, Mort K. asserted that Mike Huckabee “is not a nice man" simply because he accepted the endorsement of Mr. Gilchrist of The Minute Men Project. Fred Barnes not only stood by in agreement but joined in on the slander.

Tuesday morning Dec 18th, on Fox & Friends, Steve Ducey stood by and let Ron Paul accuse Huckabee of being a “fascist” because of the bookshelf in his commercial that they believed to be a CROSS! Not only did Ducey let it go without a reprimand, Fox news replayed that cut later that night during Hannity & Colmes (and probably many other times during the day). Not one person on that network had the decency to repudiate that deplorable statement.

Again, this morning on Fox & Friends, Steve Ducey was interviewing a supposed political expert who stated that Huckabee is doing well because “he's a nice guy - like GOMER PYLE".

I don't know how Fox News can have the audacity to call themselves a news network as they are spreading non stop, malicious lies and they are actually taking the side of the liberals on “separation of church and state” - because it fits the agenda of Sean Hannity being Mitt Romney's proverbial soap picker upper.

I produced this little video in my frustration with The Fox News Network as they are using the same tactics as the Democrats in their word association games by incessantly make specious accusations against Huckabee while prefacing the slander in the gutless form of questions to Huckabee as Hannity did in an interview so he can claim that he just wants to know how Huckabee is going to respond to the attacks when he gets it from his “opposition”.

I know there are many here against Huckabee but you must notice how quickly the coverage of Huckabee has changed on Fox from “the amazing rise of Mike Huckabee” to the non-stop accusations of Huckabee “attacking” Romney for his Mormonism... It's ironic how they gave so much credence to Romney's accusation of Huckabee sounding like a Democrat while all of the sudden Fox News is sounding so much like CNN while they take part in the assault of Huckabee for allegedly having a CROSS in his CHRISTMAS commercial. What? A CROSS???? Scandalous.

In that regard, here is my video titled “Fox News Foments Republican Schism”

http://youtube.com/watch?v=b5_QEZfkijY

One thing I have in common with many here is that if Rudy Giuliani or Mitt Romney should win this nomination, I – for the first time in my LIFE TIME – will absolutely, unequivocally NOT be voting for the Republican presidential candidate under any circumstance.

God Bless & Keep you & MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Absolutely agree. And I won't vote for that lying, liberal, party-destroying, flip-flopping phony Huckster, either.

Only problem with Reverend Huckaberry is that he’s dumb as a box of rocks.

The double-chinned bigot strikes again.

I didn't look - is this the 'hold your own handicam while walking by some lake and wearing $5 sunglasses' schtick again?

Look at how they’ve treated Fred Thompson these last four months. Fox News is 100% behind Rudy Giuliani, PERIOD!

Who cares? If your point of view was all that relevant than Fred wouldn’t be looking at single-digit finishes across the board.

I'm having another "If I had a nickel for every time..." moment.

Are you the same person that promised not to vote Republican in 2006 to teach them a lesson? Is that working for you? Geez!

This approach worked so very well in the 2006 elections.

Perhaps we need someone to come up with a term for the opposite of a broken glass Republican, someone who votes for the GOP because it’s better than the alternative, but while holding his nose.

Huck isn’t nice. He is liberal. He has in a slimy way knocked mormanism. He does lie. His lies come the same day, or a week or two apart, not changes in positions from previous years he admits to. I thought FNC had been pretty fair, held back on the criticism of Huck. They even call Mitt’s ads attack ads,and they are not. Huck doesn’t respond to criticism,he just attacks the messenger or the one criticizing. Fred,Mort,Charles etc don’t say what they are told to say and explained why.
Travis McGee has it right.. Carter plus Clinton equals Huckabee.

He is as much of a Rev. as my cat.
He went to a bible school for a couple of yrs.

No 4 yr seminary. No Latin, Greek,or Hebrew.
No Hermeneutics, No Theology, deep Sscriptural
study, No History, etc that a Priest or Lutheran Pastor
studies.

The Huckester is a joke. The Repo candidate of the Democrats, especially with wanting to close down Gitmo.

I would not vote for Gomer Pyle if he were the last person on earth. He has used and abused religion. He sneakily does so.
He makes me think of a used car salesman.
I will vote for any Republican running except Huckster and Ron Paul!

My state voted for the only new GOP Senator in the United States in the last election. My vote downballot is irrelevent. My Congressional district has elected a string of Democrats in every election since 1874. Not 1974. 1874. Again, it doesn’t matter whom I vote for in House races or even state legislative ones, they’re infested with liberal rodents with not even the most remote chance of electing Republicans.

It’s incredible, even after having lost Congress, we still haven’t learned our lesson. Same business-as-usual RINOs running the show. We put up one of their buffoon candidates for President (Rudy McRombee) and we will deserve the biggest bitchslap imaginable in 2008. We’ve completely forgotten why we were elected to the majority in 1994. When we finally grow up and “get it” and start to do what’s necessary and what’s right, we’ll deserve the majority again.
