What debate? I’m not watching and I’m not reading the live thread.
Same here. I posted to the debate thread just to announce that I wouldn’t be watching any debate without Duncan Hunter.
I wish Duncan would/could get some traction. He’s the only candidate I have strong positive feelings about. The rest leave me feeling “blah”.
“Some of Hunter’s Republican rivals, who were invited to join both debates, havent won any delegates in any state thus far.”
According to this article, there were no delegates selected in Iowa. So that would mean that Hunter is EVEN with Thompson going into New Hampshire.
First G.O.P. Delegate Goes to Romney (Romney, Hunter Leading in WY)
New York Times ^ | January 5, 2008 | MEAD GRUVER

Wyoming chose the first 12 delegates of 2008 at 12 separate county conventions. Iowa Republicans, who have 40 delegates, conducted a straw poll but elected no convention delegates Thursday.
So, that means that Romney has the most delegates, and Fred and Hunter are both tied at 2, going into New Hampshire. I see now that Hunter was wise not to campaign in Iowa, and where he did choose to campaign he drew even with the other conservative in the race. You get more bang for the buck with Hunter.
This must be the first time in our history that a candidate who has just as many delegates as another has been excluded from a debate. The media bias is palpable.
bttt.
We HAVE to get him in the next debate. For sure!
We need to put up a DELEGATE TOTAL graphic and start getting it on all threads that involve this GOP Presidential Primary. List up the candidates and put their total delegate totals. Duncan Hunter is ON THE BOARD.
I like Duncan but he got 1/2 % of all caucus goers, which was about 550 voters. I think Alan Keyes had about 1,000 but the Republican Party considered him a write-in and didn’t report his votes.
Ron Paul got 10% in Iowa and earned 2 delegates and raised more money than any other Republican in the 4th Quarter.
Glad to see Duncan got 10% in Wyoming.
Good work upsdriver and Man50D.
I contacted ABC yesterday and WMUR today, and then decided to contact Charlie Gibson personally, as well as ABC.
Here is my as polite-as-I-could-muster short note to ABC via Gibson:
Re: ABC has egg on it’s face.
Duncan Hunter third in Wyoming primaries. Ahead of RudyMcBeePaul. So why was Hunter not invited to the debate tonight?
I’m afraid your “criteria” is flawed friends.
Good point from the OP:
“Some of Hunter’s Republican rivals, who were invited to join both debates, havent won any delegates in any state thus far.”
They’ll look under the pig trough and come up with one.
If there is video of this we should DEMAND that WMUR and ABC broadcast this in New Hampshire and NATIONALLY.

Good idea, and can tell them it’s a good way for them to redeam themselves.
btw, for now, we can leave a comment here:

Just so we get this right: ABC has already had the debates tonight, I believe. They erroneously stated that Rep. Hunter was not qualified to participate. So we should in fact write to ABC to chew them out, but I think we need to go after Fox (before it’s too late) and try to get THEM to put him on tomorrow, during the “roundtable” discussions.
The address of “ yourcommnets@foxnews.com “ was posted here the other day for FNC. Let’s innundate them with mail telling them to get Duncan Hunter there ASAP for tomorrow’s discussion.
I’m with you for Hunter.
Good idea.
It’s not too late for Fox to invite Hunter, and we can point out to Fox that Hunter is ahead of RudyMcBeePaul, as far as delegates go.
VERY Good!
Count me in!
