Maine Dem Congressman using british sailor pic and claiming 'Support for US Veterans'

How Does Tom Allen Keep His Promise to US Vets If....? Would Tom Allen Recognize a U.S. Vet if He Saw One?

Tom Allen’s campaign for U.S. Senator website is promoting a feature called, “Keeping Our Promise To American’s Veterans,” with a series of photos.

But how does Tom Allen keep his promise to American Veterans if he doesn’t know what one looks like?

The picture below from Allen's website is a stock photo of a Royal Navy sailor. A U.S. Navy sailor would not be wearing a beard. The weapon in the picture is a British weapon.

This isn’t the first time Leftist Democrat politicians have used stock photos of non-U.S. military personnel to portray themselves as pro U.S. veteran.

It is not known if any of the other people in Rep. Allen’s veteran pictures are Mainers.

This clown is also using a stock picture of a WWII POW named Glenn McDole on this home page, bought from the same website, and probably doesn't even know who the guy is. The Dem candidate is MoveOn.org's guy in Maine, I wonder how a vet like this would feel being used on a website like this?

"n 86-year-old WWII veteran who was captured by the Japanese, held as prisoner of war for three years, and was one of eleven who survived out of 65 in his Marine Corps unit. He is the last surviving veteran from this group. Setting is Washington, D.C., war monument area. He wears his POW-MIA cap as a P.O.W. survivor."

If that is a pic of Glenn McDole, then I doubt he'd be happy about it. Glenn McDole, Survivor of the Palawan Massacre was a keynote speaker at the event linked above.

If you want to pander to a certain group of people, you should at least try to learn a little bit about them. As a veteran, I view this buffoon’s “support” page as being totally phony and fraudulent.

There’s the man’s story. Palawan, for those not familiar, was where the Japanese used false air raid warnings to force prisoners into dugouts and underground bunkers, then poured gasoline in on them and burned them alive.

A few men escaped. Very few.

That was in the Philippines, as I recall.

Nothing irritates me as much as a liberal professing support for the Military. The only one I can stomach (and gladly) was Zell Miller.

The party has been completely taken over by the same people who made their lives difficult when they were in combat, abused our Veterans when they came home from Vietnam.

After Zell Miller left the DNC, all those remaining to the DNC were those who’ve given themselves over, lock, stock and barrel, to the ideological support of our enemy, no matter who that enemy may be.

The entire party is now nothing but an active 5th column engaged in aggressive betrayal.

He’s a dhimmicrat. He wouldn’t know which end of the gun that the bullet emerges from. And believe me, the majority of the military think about as much of dhimmicrats as they do of Osama. Less, actually, since Osama did display a bit of intelligence and capability.

Looks like he pulled the british pic off, but McDole is still up there.
