"It was my judgement at the time that it was not as problematic.." - Obama
FOX News | 13 March 2008 | Barack Hussein Obama

Posted on 03/15/2008 11:47:03 AM PDT by Jeff Head

In an interview with Major Garrett on Fox News last night, among many other things, Barack Hussein Obama indicated that regarding the upproar over the very controversial, hateful, rascists, and unAmerican statements of his long time pastor, menotr, and spiritual advisor, that Obama, upon learning of earlier statements:

"It was my judgement at the time that it was not as problematic.."

Also, yesterday, reveleations in the Rezko corruption trial, indicate that the Obama campaign is now revealing much larger donations through Rezko's efforts than previously stated. The Obama campaign also indicated that Barack had lapses of judgement in dealing with Rezko in those years.

Barack Hussein Obama, at the very best, is being revealed through these occurances as a candidate with very poor perception and judgement. And judgement is an issue he has raised as setting him apart from others.

Well, it is now clear that it does set him apart...but not in the way he had hoped.

His judgement is too poor to lead...too poor to govern.

As to his long time (20 year) preacher, Reverend Wright, the Obama's chose this man. In Obama's book, he indicates that as an activist Obama looked into Trinity church and picked him. Then they stayed with him for all these years, having the pastor marry him, baptize his kids, become his spiritual advisor, and his mentor, and even having him on his religion committee for his campaign.

It is simply not credible to consider that Obama did not really know what this man represented or said...that this man's signature social leanings, very apparent in many many of his sermons were never heard or unknown to Barack Hussein Obama and his wife.

In the following days, because of Obama's statements last night on national news that he had never heard them in the pew, and been unaware of these virulent sermons, that significant research will occur to determine if that is in fact the case.

It will not be surprising after 20 years of attendance, to find documented proof that Obama did in fact hear these things in sermons he attended and was aware of these hateful, disgusting views...for example when he cancelled Reverend Wright's planned public prayer at the onset of Obama's campaign. Why did he cancel that prayer at that time...the day before?

Quotes from Wright himself at the time indicate it was in fact because Obama was fully aware of Wright's controversial and bombastic, hateful statements.

On a final note, for Obama to refer to Wright as an Uncle is another non-starter. Senator Obama...you cannot chose your Uncles. They are a presult of birth. But you do chose your pastor, the man who marries you, the man who baptises your children...and you choose to continue going there and listening for twenty years.

There is no doubt that you knew what he represented and you either thought it would not matter, or hoped it would stay below the event horizon.

Well, perhaps after 20 years of hearing this man's hate American mantra, it better explains your wife's statement of it being the first time in her adult life she was proud of America with your campaign...and your own view of patriotism with not wearing aa US flag on your lapel or being willing to salute the flag while standing on that stage with your fellow candidates several months ago.

My guess is that Obama probably hasn’t heard that many of the guy’s sermons. I don’t think Obama is a Muslim, but I don’t think he is a Christian either. He decided to use this church as a way of painting himself as a church-going Christian. And now that lie is backfiring on him.

“cheering them on...and then saying at the end that you were never really a fan.”

Actually it’s more like saying you were a fan but you never knew they were playing baseball!

Ag, this is just silly. The MSM knew all this stuff beforehand. If not they are just dumbasses and we can ignore them at will. But they decided to cover it up knowing full well that any white pol with similar baggage would not even have made the primaries. So now it blows up in their faces and they act like little schoolkids. please!

Hillary must be salivating over this...

Do you imagine for one moment that this would be discussed in the Drive By Media if Clinton operatives weren't involved?

The Rev’s camments aren’t just a few plucked form rare diatribes. I suspect these are common themes that would have been known and pretty much accepted by all the congregants. I also suspect this type of rhetoric is common in a large number of black churches.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I have often said that the worst WHITE racist I ever met was a man from Chicago, now it seems the worst BLACK racist I have ever heard of is also from Chicago.

This totally contradicts statements made by his “minister” in 2007 that Obama would have to distance himself from Wright, and Wright would need to lower his profile.

Funny thing is, he specifically said it would be AFTER the primaries. It never even occurred to either of them that this would be an issue to the Democrats. Were the naive enough to believe that only the Republicans would dare question someone’s religion, or did they believe their racial status exempted them from attacks by the Democrats?

I am hoping that they rip each other to shreds...have an unbelievably contentious convention...and that both of them are mortally wounded thereby.

Man you got it! That is why when leaving South Africa I decided to head for Germany. The US is just 10-20 years behind South Africa. I could never understand why whites in the US so badly wanted black governance in South Africa and were pushing the blacks in the US through the AA ticket. All that beautiful aeronautics you guys got there is just going to go belly up when the black man reigns. I’ve never seen a functional university in a black country. Do you think the Russians or Europeans are still going to take you seriously? The first thing they will do is make sure the US is no longer a military threat to them. The idea of blacks being able to nuke Europe or Russia is not going to be taken lightly there. Why did the democrats never think about these things?

A man so easily duped by an Arab criminal and a race-baiting preacher should not be a US Senator let alone the US President.

Obama is an unsuitable vessel by virtue of his own gullibility or his disengenuousness.

And do not forget the Chicago Tribune who went out of the way by going to a judge in California to open divorce records of Obama’s Republican Senate opponent Ryan.
Publishing Ryan's divorce records by the Chicago Tribune allowed Obama a clear ride into the U.S. Senate.
Just recently Foster, divorced but Democrat run for Hastert’s vacated seat.
The Chicago Tribune's action:
No divorce records of Foster, but editorial endorsement.
Foster won.

Exactly...amen. And that is the tale at its best. Much more so if (probably) he agrees with the sentiments of both.

Obama really sees nothing wrong with this “minister” but KNOW others will have trouble with his anti American HATRED and RACIST views. He’s just upset that the “right wing media” is calling attention to it.

You can not convince me that in the twnety years he attended this farce of a church he didn’t hear this stuff. EVen people in “church” talk - He heard all about and continued to attend. He had NO PROBLEM iwth it. Others that did, LEFT - whether they heard ir or not, they could get his sermon on tape and HEAR and SEE this crap.

Obama has been taught to hate me because I am white.

Me, I dislike him because he hates America and is a socialist.

I can live with that.

"This is a PC curse following us now."

Political Correctness - A doctrine fosted by a delusional, illogical liberal minority, rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous media, holding forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

I just found a quote form Obama online that says he was looking forward to going home for Christmas (2007) and looking forward to spending time at home with his family. 12-25-07 was the day that the good Rev. gave the “Hillary ain't never been called a n_____” sermon. Are we to believe that the deeply religious Obama did not take his family to church on Christmas? Obama left himself WIDE open for the media to link his attendance with one of these rants that he says he knew nothing about.... I am sure we will find out in short order with Hillary on the case!

The preachers words were highly disturbing and I can not think of any other sects in Christian churches who would not have asked for a preachers imediate resignation for the sermon he preached.

Now every man is entitled to his own opinions on political matters and even the nations decline. But the pulpit of the church is no place to take the name of the Lord in vain. Saying that GOD may or will punish a nation again is one thing. But using the pulpit calling for damnation in the name of GOD is not the conduct of any preacher any church should tolorate. But the UC of C in itself is by no means a typical Christian church.
