Band of Mothers pickets Congress to fund our Troops - They need our help - July 8, 9 & 10

I received this email from Bev Perlson, founder of Band of Mothers" and mother of a four tour soldier. Bev has been a regular in front of the Cannon Building over the last year or so, rain, shine, cold.

She needs help. She is usually the only one out there trying to call attention to the DemoRats "cut 'n run" surrender tactics.

Just several weeks ago Bev and RonGKirby, Eagle and FReeper, were harassed by Code Pink. The harassment was so bad that the Capitol police had to step in and move Code Pink out of her permitted area.

Bring Sunscreen and Water, No shade on the corner, Kind of like Iraq and Afghanistan!

Please join us and let Congress know that we are darn proud of our Soldier's accomplishments. Their Noble Service requires pay and deserves RESPECT! It will mean the world to our Brave Warriors!

Bev has done several one-woman multi-day pickets on the Hill over the past (year?) many months. I thought you stood with her on an occasion or two. I know that several Freepers have joined her in the past. Bev is the gutsy gal who went into Murtha's office and gave 'em what-for a few months back, causing the cowards in Murtha's office to call a battalion of Capitol Police to surround her and ask her for ID.

Bev is also the one who got into Medea Benjamin’s face at Walter Reed one Friday night (in March I think) and had Medea running scared all night.

She needs you help. Last time she was there Code Pink gave her such a hard time the Capitol police had to step in and move CP along.

It has been confirmed that a CP member dropped a lighted match on Bev’s back pack and stuff. She needs help to watch her back.
