Why is it unacceptable? As Boortz would say, these "urban sportsmen" choose to be where they are. They are not looking for jobs...they choose not to be employed. Just the other day I was waiting at a stop light and a man was there with a sign saying he was homeless and needed food to eat. I had just come out of a grocery store, about 100 yards away, that had signs they needed stock boys. So, I rolled down the window, pulled up to the homeless man and told him about the job opening. His response: "F#$k you!" and he flipped me off. If these people don't want to help themselves, I fail to see why I should help them either directly (give them cash) or indirectly (having my tax money aid them via the city).
Bwahahahahahahahahahaha! CLASSIC!
That WAS his "job". He probably makes more money than you do.
He didn’t have a sign saying “Advice wanted”. Give him cash for some “food” and keep driving. The man’s trying to earn a living.
When I worked at the Homeless Shelter, the manager once told us “When you give money to a homeless person, you are paying them to be homeless”. The liberals were aghast. The liberal response is “I don’t care what happens to him as long as I feel better”.
