Another Liberal Liar?
Kudlow & Company | 08/04/2008 | Quentin Hardy

Posted on 08/04/2008 9:02:37 PM PDT by GregoryFul

Just on Kudlow & Company, while debating Ann Coulter, Quentin Hardy claims that Obama was top of his class (presumed at Harvard). Is this another example of a liberal lying scumbag, or is he accurate?

Near the top in what catagory? How much pot he could smoke without getting kicked out?

What does “near” mean?

“Quentin Hardy claims that Obama was top of his class (presumed at Harvard).”

Maybe top of the class at lying and racist anecdotes, but this needs confirmation. Anyone?

Obama was president of the Harvard Law Review. That usually means that he was pretty close to the top. However, almost every president of the Harvard Law Review went on to clerk for a major Supreme Court Justice—they were considered a shoe-in. He didn't. He chose not to. That may be because there are problems with his citizenship status vis-a-vis his birth certificate.

I remember in high school we elected our black to class president - just because he was unusual in our school.

Speaking of that - anyone, what’s the latest on this - any update or news?

Very astute. He would have had to undergo an intense background check, now wouldn’t he?

So instead he went to Chicago.

Or, was he president of the Harvard Law Review? All the yearbooks for that year have been yanked from Harvard’s library.

There is very little we actually do know about this man. That’s scary.

However, regarding grades:

"Until the 1970's the editors were picked on the basis of grades, and the president of the Law Review was the student with the highest academic rank. Among these were Elliot L. Richardson, the former Attorney General, and Irwin Griswold, a dean of the Harvard Law School and Solicitor General under Presidents Lyndon B. Johnson and Richard M. Nixon.

"That system came under attack in the 1970's and was replaced by a program in which about half the editors are chosen for their grades and the other half are chosen by fellow students after a special writing competition. The new system, disputed when it began, was meant to help insure that minority students became editors of The Law Review." - First Black elected to Harvard's Law Review - New York Times, February 6, 1990.

Let's see. I discovered that Google had sanitized their database of all images of Barack's forged Certificate of Live Birth.

The latest news is that Techdude has recovered the name of the original person listed on the purported BO birth certificate and it is someone noted and female. Techdude is withholding the name to allow the miscreants time to own up on their own. If they don't, he will release the name.

Supposedly he graduated magna cum laude. There could have been 100 others who did as well, or it could have been a small group.

I will put it this way. Obama is smart, but Washington is full of people who are a lot smarter.

So, was he top of his class, as claimed? Or only (but honorably) just editor of “The Law Review?”

he was not the first or second choice for President of the law review. he nominated himself after the voting was locked between the first and second candidates. in other words a weasel opportunist.

When one makes a claim like that on national TV, one ought to be sure of his facts. To claim some wet-dream wish in this venue is lying in my book.

I look at it this way.

Obama wanted to be in politics, not a boring lawyer dealing with arcaneness. If he would have clerked at the SC, he would have had to work his ass off. He has never really been a lawyer...a practicing lawyer, who really work their asses off when they are junior partners or just getting started.

Chicago is one of the centers of, I hate to say it, “Black Power” in the US and he was drawn to it to establish his bonafides and become political.

Politics was the end game and it seems that he has achieved this goal.
