If Bill hadn’t lied about Gennifer Flowers, with Hillary’s help, he wouldn’t have ever been President.

BEST COMMENT OF THE THREAD!!

So true, many have forgotten THAT fact. His willingness to blatantly, unconscionably lie on TV to a national audience helped him get elected! Yes, that IS A FACT!

Maybe...maybe not.

After all, the "Bent One" was front and center in Hillie's campaign. Had the Edwards thing come about, it might have served as a reminder of the whole sordid Clinton Presidency and Hills' enabling of her scumbag hubby. More people might have flocked to Obama who they would perceive as a "clean fresh start"

Maybe... maybe not. The majority of Edwards supporters were white males.

Ahhh... so the real victim of the Edward’s affair was not his wife, but Hillary...

I dunno. With the right wording, I could see it being a subtle dig at all male politicians (they all cheat) and the strength Hillie showed in standing by her man through all this...or some similar spin. It could’ve easily gone either way, but if there’s anything Democrats are good it, it’s at blaming everybody but themselves.

Geez... are the Clintoons really losing their skills? This is the kind of thing they thrived on exposing in the past-

Or is their nothing to gain for Bill (except humilation as ‘First Lady’ and 24/7 scrutiny and a trip to Ft. Marcy Park when he got caught with his d#$@ in the cookie jar again)

This whole thing is pretty impressive for the National Inquirer.

The Clintons are some of the most powerful people in the country. If they want you down... you’re going down. We know full well that Clinton had her people out there trying to dig up dirt on every one of her opponents.

...and for the Inquirer to dig up dirt on someone that a Clinton couldn’t find, well thats pretty impressive.

Surely the Clinton War Room was aware of earlier (2007) National Inquirer stories on The Breck Girl affair.

I bet they even had the own P.I.s on the job.

Why would they have not outed him if they could?

This surely opens the door for the PUMAs to call for a roll-call at the convention.

If reporters had nabbed former presidential candidate John Edwards lying about his extramarital affair, Hillary Clinton would have captured the Democratic presidential nomination...

If reporters had nabbed former presidential candidate Bill Clinton lying about his extramarital affair, Hillary Clinton would be baking cookies in a trailer in Arkansas.

I’m not sure about this. My impression is that the Breck Girl’s base was the anti-war vote. If they didn’t have Hillary, I suspect a lot of them would have defaulted to Bambi.

Woulda, coulda and shoulda never did anything for anybody..............

Yes, wish in one hand, sh*t in the other, and see which one fills up the quickest. But it does make interesting conversation, hopefully on the front pages of Americas' newspapers,.....Oh, say just about the time of the Democrat convention. It promts a stimulating conversation...for example,...did Obama and Edwards collude with one or both parties knowing the other was essentially disqualified....I think they did....OR...Did Obama offer Mr.Edwards quid pro quo for his staying in the race...it is widely reported that Edwards was on the VP short list or AG list. These are imponderable, given the irrefutable liars both obama a and edwards are,...but we can talk....we can conversate...nationally.....first amendment, you know....

“I would rather Hillary was running instead of Barack Hussein.”

Why? She may not be a Muslim, but she sure is every bit as much of a left-wing radical as he is.

Poor Hillary! How can she win with so many lying men surrounding her? She’s probably wondering how Elizebeth Edwards was able to stand behind her man.

The National Enquirer first broke the story on 1 October, 2007. The MSM didn’t touch it because they wanted Hillary to lose in Iowa.. Hillary and Edwards were running even in Iowa.

I suggested in an earlier thread the Clinton machine was behind the N E story.

There are so many lies and distortions to be covered up. What's a media outlet supposed to do? How can they truly understand the impacts of this or that Democrat scandal, to understand which ones to hold onto and which ones to fold and report on?

Oh wow. But Elizabeth who says she simply adores Hillary, refused to let anyone know the facts about John's character.

I wanna know when Hillary's team recommended Rielle to the Edwards campaign.
