Oprah Winfrey Has More In Common with Sarah Palin Than with B. Hussein Obama
Vanity | 8/29/08 | RinaseaofDs

Just had a thought, and maybe I'm the first to have it:

Who's Oprah going to support? She could support Hussein because he's black, or support Palin because she's EXACTLY like her - a self-made, highly successful, female.

I'd say this shuts her up for the duration. Wonder if she'll have her on the show?

Palin may be a self-made, highly successful female but that hardly makes her EXACTLY like Oprah. Oprah is a well-meaning left-wing talk show host who has drifted out to the fruitcake edge of philosophy because she wasn’t grounded. Besides, I don’t think Oprah’s ever even seen a moose let alone hunted one.

Are you smoking crack?

Oprah is pro-choice, anti-gun, socialist and dabbler in identity politics.

Palin is pro-life, pro-gun, capitalist and anti-special interest.

Zero similarities politically.

Personally, Oprah is a childless, never married feminist, while Palin is long married mother of 4 traditionalist.

The only similarity is that they’re both rich. Oprah WILL NOT support Paliln or the the McCain ticket.

Regrettably, Palin was not the best choice for McCain. Rather shoring up his weaknesses, it looks like an admission: “Yeah, I know I’m old and boring, so I got this hot fresh babe on my ticket. Vote for me.” Sorry, that’s just how it reads to me.

Oh yes, she has.

Whenever she looked in the mirror before she lost the weight.

As much as I like Oprah and this hurts to say it, but the only reason she supports obama is because he is black.

Nope. Hardly like Oprah.

Married 20 years to high school sweetheart. Five kids. An obvious partner with her husband. She could not get where she was all by herself. She hasn’t gotten where she is because she was lustful for more and more. She never commented that she had made it because she ‘has all these white people working for me.”

Don’t ever make the mistake of equating Palin with Oprah.

I didn't know Palin was rich. Can you tell me how she made her money?

For 90-95% of American blacks, race comes before everything. No way okra winfrey supports anyone else, as long as a (1/4) black is running.

You could prove that osama was the antichrist, and he'd still get 95% of the black vote.

"You could prove that osama was the antichrist, and he'd still get 95% of the black vote."

Sadly, there is not a freakin doubt in my mind that you are correct. But it is what it is. Dimwits get 90%+ of the black vote every time and it doesn't matter that they vote against their own interests.

Dims need to keep the black poor right where they are economically, or the effectiveness of their victim politics goes right out the window.

Who cares what Orpah thinks? The fact she supports Obama after she is a self made Billionaire is very perplexing? It does not make sense unless all she cares about is race.

Effect on me personally? I can only vote for the man once, so no, it never had an effect on me. From the beginning, I’ve made it known that I was voting for the Republican nominee no matter who it was. That has not changed.

For the record, no vice presidential pick has ever swayed me either way. Maybe I’m a pessimist, but I don’t think McCain is going to win this one.

She could support Hussein because he's black...

Is Oprah 5% Black African? That's all that Obama is. The other part of Obama that's African, 45%, is Arab - the guys who operated the African side of the slave trade.

So, yes, Presuming Oprah is 5% Black African, and she offers support based on identity politics, she should DEFINITELY support Obama.

Saying Oprah’s irrelevant doesn’t make it so. On the left, she’s highly relevant.

If Oprah backed Hillary instead of Hussein, you think he still wins the nomination? I don’t think so.
